If you don't care that she acts above the law and includes details not relevant to the case or…read moreapplicable law, then she may be the lawyer for you. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Throughout my interactions with this attorney, I found the level of professionalism to be disappointing. There appeared to be an overwhelming caseload, which often resulted in confusion regarding court dates, meeting times, and case-related communications. Important details were frequently mixed up, creating unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up. Communication was another significant concern. Emails were often written in an unprofessional tone, and when mistakes occurred, there was little to no accountability. Instead of acknowledging errors and working collaboratively to resolve them, responsibility was often shifted elsewhere. At the same time, delays from clients or others involved in the case were met with criticism and impatience, creating a frustrating double standard. Perhaps most concerning was the overall lack of confidence this experience inspired. Professionalism, organization, accountability, and respect are qualities clients should expect from legal representation, and unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking in my experience. If this review is challenged or dismissed simply because the attorney claims not to recognize the situation or disputes the feedback, that would only reinforce the concern. Clients have a right to share honest experiences, whether positive or negative. This review reflects my genuine experience and opinion based on direct interactions. I would encourage anyone considering representation to carefully evaluate whether this attorney's communication style, organization, and professional conduct align with their expectations before retaining services.

After spending over 50K in legal fees on two lawyers and losing years of my life trying get terms…read moreof separation agreement settled, I really needed to make sure of my next selection. Melanie did what the other 2 lawyers didn't do. SHE GOT RESULTS! Lucky for me, the third time was the charm. I found out about Melanie Solomon on the Mass Super Lawyers list. I am proof of why Melanie is on that list. Melanie gave me great advice on whether to pursue possible legal action versus just going after retirement funds owed to me. Melanie's only interests and concerns were to do what was best for her client. My case was very challenging as my uncooperative ex-wife moved out of state to Florida and the retirement funds were moved to a different company. Melanie was very organized and kept tabs on my case to keep things moving. She persisted and pushed things along till it's successful conclusion. What stood out to me was that Melanie was a true professional. My case was probably one of her smallest cases, but she cared, accepted full responsibility of my case and I always felt like she was giving me the same effort of her more lucrative cases. Melanie's billing was more than fair and offered great value. My only regret is that I didn't select Melanie from the start. In my heart, I know Melanie would have got things done once, right and the first time. SELECTING THE RIGHT LAWYER CAN BE A LIFE CHANGING AND CONSEQUENTIAL DECISION. Selecting Melanie Solomon will be one of the best decisions you can make.

Not only…read moreis John Calcagni uncommonly clever, but he is the perfect combination of sensible, empathetic, alarmingly honest, and wonderfully capable of projecting all of these qualities onto the jury. Watching John in Court is a true joy. No one gets to see attorneys immerse themselves so completely in their cases anymore! During your first meeting with John, he lays out for you the many ways that your case could take. Then, he elaborates on how he will redirect, counter, or avoid altogether the varying strategies opposing counselors will use. After having worked with and opposite to more than two thousand attorneys during my 52-year career, I can honestly say that I trust John with my own life as well as (and, more importantly to me) with the lives of my family members. Chad and his team are outstanding!…read more I highly recommend Chad and his firm to anyone looking for quality, competent legal representation in Rhode Island and the surrounding areas. My situation is unique, and I needed to hire an attorney without the benefit of knowing anyone in Rhode Island. My child is a full-time student who made a terrible decision late one night and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. I did what most people do, I did a google search and found the Law Office of Chad F. Bank. This was possibly the best phone call I ever made! I called Chad on a Sunday afternoon. Chad answered the phone personally! We spoke for almost an hour. We discussed the situation and how he would be able to help. Before I even hired Chad officially, he called my child as a courtesy to explain next steps and provide assurance that everything would be ok. That personal touch was exactly what a father thousands of miles away needed. Chad has tremendous experience and a great professional reputation. The case has now been resolved, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. No attorney can guarantee a particular result, but Chad did a fantastic job. Thanks Chad! B. B.

I hired this incompetent of a lawyer a long time ago for a domestic case. Despite providing a lot…read moreof evidence that could have helped me, they completly ignored it. They kept passing me around to different lawyers, - One of them Rory Munns and none of them seemed to take my case seriously. Communication was terrible -- my calls and messages were often ignored. The office I went to was not the one advertised online; it seemed like a house converted into an office near Foxy Lady, the strip club. This made me feel even more uneasy about the professionalism of the firm. In my opinion, the firm took my money and did very little to actually help me, so money down the drain. I am also an immigrant, and it seemed like they didn't care about the serious immigration consequences I was facing -- they tried to push a plea deal that could have led to my deportation. I eventually found a much better lawyer who treated my case with the seriousness it deserved and helped me get the case dismissed. Thanks to them, I now have a bright future and my citizenship path is safe. My lawyer is the best in the state, and this firm not even in a million years will ever be as good as him. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm. Please be very careful if you are an immigrant -- in my view, they seemed more interested in getting paid than protecting their clients. Personally, I would not trust the positive reviews I've seen online. These lawyers are a joke and God will take justice for the horrible things they did to me. Shame on you and Rory Munns.
