Seems there are a lot of therapists who claim they do lymphatic but I feel it's rare you actually find someone professionally trained. Dali knew exactly what she was doing and was comfortable the entire time. A lymphatic massage should not hurt, it's pretty light pressure and I wouldn't consider it a massage. Yes things are happening but it's not super pleasurable like a Swedish massage just so you know what to expect. The office was super cute, there is a little shop in the lobby with crystals and such which I had to check out as well. I've actually bought a few things from the crystal shop in the past but this was my first visit in for Dali. I plan to go back in a week or so too. *oh and a nice surprise, making it much more likely I will quickly return, she doesn't take gratuities. My lymphatic massage was $125 all in. I was having a hard time wrapping my head spending that kind of money on a light touch massage since I'm a deep tissue fan, but now knowing I don't have to add a tip it is super reasonable. For those who don't know what these types of messages are, they are a specialized type of medical massage, which can help treat lymphedema, in which lymphatic fluid collects in certain areas of the body because it cannot drain away effectively. Lymphatic massage aims to improve the flow of lymph fluid, which should reduce swelling. Additionally, a lymphatic massage helps to remove toxins, bacteria, viruses, cell debris, waste, edema and pathogens away from the tissues and into the lymphatic system where it can be eliminated or cleansed. During my first appointment this week, Laurel reviewed my paperwork (health history required to be completed prior to appointment) and spoke to me about the type of lymphatic messages that she provides. During the massage, Laurel was able to relieve some of the swelling I had, which was exactly what I went to her for. These sessions are done in the home of Laurel as opposed to a clinical setting. Waaaay more productive than therapy had been for me. She's amazing! I do life coaching with her now, and I have noticed improvements in my life. I love how I leave the sessions with action items of what to do next in my journey. Angela's caring, supportive, and loving. I wish I had found her years ago. If you're thinking of giving reiki or life coaching a try, I'd say you should give it at least one shot! You seriously won't regret it with Angela!

Because of this pain I deal with on a day to day basis, I decided that I would finally do something that I had not done before as what I was doing for pain management for years was not working. I scheduled my appointment on-line and completed the preliminary paperwork on-line before the start of the appointment. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is based on the theory that your health depends on the flow of qi (energy) in your body. This energy travels along invisible pathways, known as meridians, that are found throughout the body. A blocked or disrupted flow of qi can have a negative effect on your physical and mental health. Acupuncture aims to restore the flow of qi by resolving any blockages or disruption. Prior to getting stated with my session, Jayme asked me about my background, what my pain points were, etc. This allowed her to get an idea how to best help me. After the conversation, Jayme began to place needles in various parts of my body for my session. With the needles inserted, I laid face down on a message table for about 20 minutes. When the needles were removed, I felt centered and calm. Literally, my mood was totally changed and the stress seemed to just float out of body. After my session was over, Jayme gave me the print out of my session and I scheduled my next session for the New Year. #bewellcentraltx

She measured and weighed me. Amber mixes cardio with strength training utilizing body weight and free weights to work every part of the body. Her workout keeps your heart rate up so that you are always working out at an optimal level. She asked that I email her a daily food/exercise log so that I was conscious of what I was putting in my body. Amber recommended protein shakes as well as a lean diet. My goal was to lose weight and get ready for hiking in the high altitude mountains of Lincoln National Forest. Although it had been a long time since I had hiked in the mountains, Amber's training gave me the stamina to complete numerous hikes, including a six hour solo hike in the mountains. Her services are well priced and I was very happy with my results. Amber has also performed Reiki on me. She has very powerful skills. Her hands generate a lot of heat. In the past, I had never felt heat coming off of another healers' hands. Amber put me at ease and I felt her hone in on where my body needed the most attention. She truly has a gift.
