We fell in love with Verragio online and just needed to see them in person. Joseph took great care of us and showed us all of what they had of Verragio and my fiancé and I fell in love. I ended up putting a down payment on a ring that day that my fiancé got to custom make herself! Joseph was straight HEAVEN SENT!! He made this whole process very easy and affordable while making sure it had every detail we wanted. I was in this store a few weeks ago to purchase a diamond bracelet. Leslie the sales associate was nice but was supposed to get back with us by Tuesday the following week. She was having a couple of bracelets fedex'd in so we could make a purchase. We never heard from her. I called the following week asking why I didn't hear back and she said she has chronic back pain and so on. Then she looked through her notes and couldn't find anything that she wrote down from that day. We had a wonderful experience shopping at Diamonds Direct for my engagement ring. There is a huge selection, the showroom is stunning and classy, and everyone who works there is helpful and friendly, without the pushy salesmanship. I would like to personally thank Ben for helping me choose the perfect ring! He helped us from the moment we walked in until several weeks (and several visits) later when I walked out with my ring on my finger. At our first visit, I only had to select a couple of rings to try on before he understood my style and what I was liking and was able to help select bands for me to try. And being an indecisive person, we did come back more than once to look at my selection again before ultimately making a decision, without feeling any pressure to buy right away (unlike other jewelers we had been to, when I told the person helping us I wanted to think on it and come back, she said "it may not be here when you come back" and was so blatantly trying to get us to walk out the door with a purchase on our first visit, it just put a bad taste in my mouth). Ben helped us customize the ring to exactly what I had envisioned, and it came out absolutely stunning! I am so happy with it, cannot stop staring at it, and will be coming back here when it is time to choose my wedding band. This place only cares about $$$$ and not the customer. Not sure if it's because it's a Boca location or just the company in general. Went there twice. The first time we went was my first stop on my journey to get an idea of what designs were available. I knew what diamond type and that I didn't want a halo or side diamonds. The lady who helped us the first time didn't really offer anything I liked when I tried to give her some ideas. Most likely b/c 90% of rings there consisted of those 2 things I didn't want. She also seemed to be stuck on the idea that many women change their engagement rings years later. I promise I don't plan on doing that. To me an engagement ring is a one time thing to serve the purpose of an engagement. Not something I should get bored of and need new ones every 5-10 years. We are by no means rich and we are on a budget. Seems that's not something this location understands. She even mentioned wedding bands when here I was not even finding an engagement ring to purchase. We left so I could continue my search since nothing caught my attention. Down the line, after finding something I wanted made as a custom ring, we went back. I originally emailed them through the website and asked if they do custom rings for people who have their own diamonds and they said yes. So we went in and were paired with Leslie. I immediately told her (as did my fiancé on the phone when he called earlier that day) that we already have a diamond. We have images of the ring I would like to have custom made and we were looking to get an estimate on what they would charge us for it. She looked at one picture and instantly said it was a knock off stolen from Veraggio. It is not. It has similarities, but not the same. So she quickly jumped and said ok well then the person who I took the images from copied Veraggio. She also was quick to say that they could still make the custom ring regardless, but that it might be easier to work with Veraggio and modify their ring since they already have a mold and dimensions to work with. I told her we couldn't afford Veraggio's $3k-$4k prices since my fiancé put most of the budget into the diamond already. She said ok and explained the process of getting a quote, giving the ok and then getting rendered images from their designer and then getting the mold, etc. and that we needed to send her the pics with explanations of what we wanted in specifics so she could send them to their design team and she would get us a quote by the end of next day. She tried to get us to buy a plain band for the meantime to put my diamond on so I could at least get the diamond on my hand and wear it around. I declined as that would take from out budget for my actual ring. She also mentioned that I should come in another day and she would pick a few rings to show me based off the picture. I agreed to do so. I looked at the Veraggio rings on my way out and this is where she asked our actual budget and when we mentioned it, she was like oh yea you can't afford Veraggio. No kidding. Anyway, I send her the images with explanations that night. Next morning we get an email saying they can't work with us because "Unfortunately we can not and will not be able to replicate one of our premier brand partners DD operates with the highest level of integrity and cannot copy in any way shape or form any designer brand as a matter of legality." Please tell me how many ring designers don't have similar items on their engagement rings?! If I took a Veraggio and showed how many things were different with the exception of a few items that were similar Veraggio themselves wouldn't want to make me the ring. If I drew the ring myself would they have made it for me? Give me a break. Most people who get ideas for custom rings get them from other rings they've seen online or in stores. The fact that she asked me to send them pictures to send her design team, where did she think these images were coming from? Clearly I'm not a designer. She should have just said they wouldn't do it as soon as she claimed it was a knockoff and we would've left and not wasted anymore time. I understand our current budget was low, but not impossible and had they been willing to work with us, we would have considered them for our wedding bands when the time came. We will never go back to DD. read more

Buyer beware! Worst experience ever. Diamonds Direct of Boca are not interested in you, they just want to take your money. I had quality issues with an engagement ring that I bought from them that were never resolved. In a lame attempt to fix one of the problems, one of the of diamonds was ruined by Diamonds Direct of Boca . In the end I had to buy another engagement ring from a reputable jeweler. He tried to sell the diamond I bought from Diamonds Direct of Boca to the trade but no one wanted it! Finally it was appraised at 30% of the cost and I lost a lot of money. If you really love a woman don't buy her engagement ring from Diamonds Direct of Boca! You may have a better chance picking one out of a Cracker Jacks box!!! read more
