For good players, you should play from the back tees. Average players or older players (like me) will find a nice challenge from the whites. The people at the course were friendly.

And during this visit we encountered a very rude group of 4 (a senior, 2 ladies and a kid). We are just one player (I'm just a rider). This group never let us pass them. At every hole we had to wait for them (most of the time only one would have teed off by the time we caught up to them).

The greens are always in great condition, as well as the fairways. It's not a difficult course and most holes are pretty straight forward. I'd recommend at least checking it out if you've never played it before.

I've rented a court online and noticed when I arrived that I had left my paddle at home. Staff let me borrow one for free even though they typically charge which was super nice. There are tables near each court to sit at during your game or to watch your friends play. My only complaint is the service in the bar/restaurant area has not been great. There were multiple times that I went to the bar to order a drink and was never greeted by the bartender to the point of just walking away. The food and drink menu looks great but the poor service makes it hard to seek out.

Nestled in a park surrounded by suburban area, this park is a great place to spend an hour throwing discs. With nearly all holes less than 300 ft, a great round here will net you 10 down. Not much risk, not much opportunity for trouble, the park is a good place to throw a round after work. Not quite as fun as Riverside or Brewer, Old Farm is probably the 3rd best course in the GR area. A few major positives: You can play any combination of the 4 nines (Red, White, Blue, Gold), all of which offer a variety of shots. The blues are short & technical, the Red are longer field shots with the other two a mixture. Not only can you drink during the round, the majority of people are drinking. The negative: You can drink during the round, which means you could potentially get stuck behind a group, or bunch of groups more interested in drinking than discing. Brewer park is a great place to wear out your arm, with a good combined score of ~10 down on 36 holes.

I have taled to people who liked the 4 9s better but i cant comment on that myself. South Course is my favorite and seems most well thought out. More open space and longer holes with lots of elevation to play with and still has one full "in the woods" hole and a few others do have trees or bushes to shoot around. North Course is a lot more wooded. mor confusing layout as it kinda crosses over itself a few times. i got lost the first 2 times i played north. North on its own would be a 3 Star but i like South so much that it gets a 4 overall.
