I can't believe I'm writing a review about a parking lot service, but they are the best. Twice I've been ticketed for not paying parking when both times I did (1st time I put the $ in the wrong slot, 2nd time attendant made a mistake). Both times I called to dispute it, they asked which # I put my $ in and how much I paid, and then quickly removed the charges for the parking ticket. Then...about 2 weeks ago my car crapped out, so I called the # on the Diamong Parking sign, and they sent a mechanic who got my car started - free of charge! read more

They are scammers. Pay for parking plus a service fee as you have to use their app then get a fee for using it. no other way to pay. Then you come back to get slapped with a ticket for no advanced payment for 5 times the original amount as their system did not process the payment. if you do not pay the ticket within five days, then you get to pay ten times the original amount! Do not use diamond parking services downtown!! The other evening I pulled in because there was a sign that said event parking $35 dollars. I paid the $35 to park and placed the ticket on my dashboard. I did not look at the time as I figured event parking I should be good until I'm done with the event. Went to dinner had a few too many drinks so we ubered home. Came back next morning to get my vehicle and there wasn't 1 but 2 tickets from them. First ticket was for $50 dollars because I parked past midnight which is apparently when I my ticket expired and a 2nd ticket for another $35 dollar fee. I tried appealing but their process is all through email and no one there cares. If I could give them a -100 star review I totally would- we Parked here because my company was hosting a Christmas party nearby- the hefty fee of $33.00 and some change to park here for 3 hours wasn't the worst of it- the fact that this company didn't even plow or sand their stupid lot and when we got ready to leave our car was stuck- You have an attendant who by the way was a very nice young man - who doesn't even have sand provided by this company to put down so people Could back their cars out!! The arena was full for Eastern Washington University graduation and all the machines were not working and these people ticketed half the parking garage. It was the only parking left and they were thieves praying on the elderly and disabled. This has to stop! June 17 2023 and I will not stop until I get my money back. My car was ticketed June 24, 2023 after I had paid by phone $28.15 for a few hours of parking and the timer on the phone started counting down so I know it was working. After I got the citation I tried to contact the office several times on several different days but couldn't ever talk to anyone. I live in Lewiston or might have tried to go down but from the comments I read on here the office personnel may often not be competent of understanding because of their drug or alcohol problems. I paid under protest an additional $67.50 to avoid an additional late fee charge. I just got my bank statement and the $28.15 was paid to Diamond Parking Service on June 24, 2023. Today I sent a certified letter to Diamond Parking Service stating I want reimbursed for the $67.50 that I was fraudulently charged and $28.15 for the time I have in trying to correct their mistake. I also notified them that if I wasn't paid by August 27th that amount would be double each month until it is paid. (Doubling the cost each month is about the amount they fraudulently charged me for 2 weeks. So I believe that it will hold up in court if I have to have it settled there. As will the $28.15 for my time since that would be less than what I receive for a half hours work. And I have already spent over 3 hours trying to resolve their mistake. It is a good thing that I had a witness that saw the time clock had started to count down and I now have bank statements verifying the payments that the payments were made and when. I assured them that if it does go to court the price they are required to pay will be substantially more. Over the years I have dealt with only a few businesses that I would classify as HORRIBLE in taking care of their customers. Diamond Parking Service is now on that short list. From all the negative comments I see on here it might be wise to contact the City of Spokane and have them refuse to renew their business license. The 1 star saying not good should at this point say HORRIBLE. read more

We live in a world of technology. Information at our fingertips. For example, we have "smart bombs," to fingerprint passwords for our phones. We also have parking lots such as Diamond parking that tickets its own patrons who pay a month in advance. Can the "meter" reader check to see if who they are about to ticket is a member, well the technology is available, but they don't? Thus, their service is terrible. Especially on the rare occasion one of its members forgets to properly display the prepaid tag. I hope someday the shoe is on the other foot. read more

The pay kiosk was broken and they then came through and ticketed even though I had tried to call them about this issue. There was no other parking available and we had relied on this parking lot after seeing that it was listed at the location we needed. Extremely poor customer service. read more

I spent the weekend at Doubletree, and was forced to use a Diamond parking garage. I assumed there was some security presence but was wrong. The hotel points the finger at Diamond and they basically told me they don't care about security and it park at your own risk. read more

I parked in the Diamond Parking surface lot at 12 W. Main in Spokane in the evening of November 11th. There are no signs in the lot that show the rates. When I went to pay (at 6:47 pm), I was charged $13.04. Wow!! Seemed exorbitant. I was in a hurry, though, so I paid, printed out the parking receipt and put it on my dashboard. When I returned to my car at 9:20 pm, I had a parking ticket. Upon closer examination of my receipt, it showed it had expired at 7:59 pm. I was charged $13.04 for one hour and 12 minutes of parking!! And now they wanted more money! Wow. I called them. They agreed to waive the parking ticket, because they said the rate I paid should have been for the entire evening, and that the kiosk must have malfunctioned. (Hmmm. Really??) However, they said the rate was correct, and the rates vary based on the events happening downtown. When I asked how I could find out the rates in advance of going downtown, I was told there is no way. In researching parking rates, I found a website called parkme.com. Rates on this website for this lot are $2 for 2 hours, and $4 for 10 hours. Do not believe rates on this website for Diamond Parking lots. If at all possible, I will not park in a Diamond Parking lot ever again. read more
