The epitome of the experience was when I told the bellboy: this is not a 5 star hotel. He says: What do you expect? How much are you paying? I asked him: how many stars do you think it is here? He said: Maybe 3.
So, it is like a 2 star hotel, actually. The service is very poor. On our last day, I watched the front desk verbally abuse a poor old Belgian couple. It is the worst hotel service you could ask for. It is the kind of place you shouldn't be spending over 40 euros on. The accommodations are on the shabby end, from the bed, to the TV, to the bathroom, and the spotty wifi (not accessible in our room).
The breakfast does shame to the traditional Turkish breakfast. We didn't stick around for any other meals, but I wouldn't advise it. The pool and beach front were nice enough, but there was constantly blaring music, which reminded me strangely of a Mexican resort.
Maybe you can't be on the beach for this low of a price anywhere else in Bodrum, but most of the beachfronts are free access anyways, and the best beaches are out of town.
So for the love of god, please think twice about staying here! read more
