My friend and I stayed here the first week of May. I was very impressed by everything except the Wi-Fi. The food was great; with a mixture of Turkish and continental foods to satisfy any pallet. There is also an a la carte menu in the main bar for lunch which was quite nice. I recommend the pita with cheese.
Our room was very nice with a large balcony over the pool and a wonderful ocean view. We just booked a normal room so the upgrade was a nice surprise. Our air conditioner worked great and the shower was big enough for a threesome with great water pressure and endless hot water.
The best part of this hotel is the All Inclusive drinks. While most All Inclusive deals have hours between 11am and 11pm for drinks and they only include low quality local spirits. The Voyage Bodrum is 24 hours All Inclusive with premium brands including Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Bacardi, Malibu, Absolut, Beef Eater, Chivas, etc. Their cocktail menu is amazing and the servers were great. Every morning we would go to the lobby bar and the lovely bar tender would say "breakfast?" When we nodded, she would pour us a STRONG Absolut and orange juice to wake us up. There are no metered drinks here. They are proper "home pour" and if you want it stronger, just ask. They will kindly oblige.
My only complaint is the Wi-Fi. The hotel is beautifully refurbished, but the Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and it kicks you off after a few minutes of inactivity. Then you must wait about 30 minutes to log back in. We could pick up the Wi-Fi (locked) from both hotels next to ours, but we couldn't even get our Wi-Fi at the pool, in our room, or at the beach. In such a nice hotel, I expect Wi-Fi to be available everywhere on the premises. It wouldn't cost the hotel much to upgrade, but it would be the finishing touch on a great place to stay.
There are no kids allowed, so it is adults only. The age range was from the late 20's to 60's, but the vast majority of guests we in their 30's and 40's. Finally, there is a water taxi that cost 5 Lira that brings you to the center of Bodrum. The walk to Gumbit is about 15 minutes or a taxi cost 12 Lira.
Needless to say, this is the nicest hotel in Bodrum that we saw. You owe it to yourself to stay here if you don't have children. You won't regret it! read more
