The salesmen are very personable and knowledgeable- they even go attend yearly trainings hosted by Chrysler. To date the most helpful sales person I have worked with is Mike Henry. Mike has been with McKinney Dodge for about 20 years so he is very knowledgable about cars and how to get the most bang for your buck. Furthermore, Mike is very happy go lucky and he'll make it feel like you're buying a car from a friend! Additionally the service department at McKinney is not too shabby. The service department will work with you to mitigate any vehicular issues and help to ensure your car is safe to drive! Pro tip is to schedule your service department visit two weeks out to ensure you'll get the best appointments.

We were told to get an official trade in offer from carmax and come back and they would match it. Spent hours of our time getting that trade in offer from carmax in person and then being told they changed their minds.

I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with Best Chevrolet in Easley, SC. I'm writing…read morethis in June - 5 months after the incident - so I may not have all the details exact, but you'll get the gist of it. Executive Summary: Best Chevy treated me very well. While my situation did go a little sideways, Best Chevy ended up replacing my Chevy Traverse's engine with a brand new one, under warranty. The work they did was top quality and they were as professional and courteous as any dealership I've ever dealt with. (If they weren't 150 miles away from me) I would happily go to them for any future repairs. My Story: I was driving my 2012 Chevy Traverse LTZ and was part of a four-car caravan that left Georgetown, SC at around 5 PM on Friday, January 17th 2014. I had myself and 5 boy scouts in the car - we had 4 vehicles with a total of 17 people - heading to camp in Pickens and hike Table Rock. As we approached Easley, I started to hear a high-pitched noise - not grinding, but squealing - not the kind of thing you want to hear. The boys were still being noisy, but after about 10 miles, I called the leader and told him we needed to stop. We were just pulling off the highway and we stopped at the Advanced Auto in Easley. The car didn't sound good. I shut off the engine, opened the hood and checked the oil. (What else could I do?) It looked to me that I was low on oil - I had changed it about a week before - so I went in a bought a 5-quart bottle. I added about 3 quarts and checked again. After looking closely (the light was pretty bad at that time) we decided that it had already been full and hadn't needed any. We tried to start the car again and it sounded terrible. That car wasn't going anywhere that night. The next morning, Saturday, I arrived to the dealership in Easley. They towed in my car and I spent most of the morning in the waiting room. By early afternoon I had the bad news. The engine was toast. While my car was under warranty, it would take a day or two to further explore the cause, determine what was required and to get authorization to do any repairs. Back to Georgetown I went. It was a few days later I received unsettling news. They had found that sludge in the engine was blocking the flow of oil to the upper area. I would need to provide maintenance records, otherwise Chevy would not authorize the repair under warranty. Not the kind of news you want to hear when your car is 150 miles from home, at a dealership you've never worked with. So I made some call. The Service Manager at my local dealership told me that this was Chevy's procedure. Honestly, I still wasn't sure if I was being messed with or not. (How much sludge is "sludge", etc.) I bought this car in August 2013 from Hertz Rent-a-Car in Mount Pleasant SC. After 3 days of frantic calling, I was able to get the records from Hertz. I admit, I was still pretty concerned. Would Chevy tell me Hertz used the wrong type of oil? Would they say the changes weren't frequent enough? I only had proof of one of the two oil changes I had done - would that be a problem? About 2 days after I got the records to Best Chevrolet, I got the call. I would be getting a new engine, under warranty. I ended up paying for nothing. No co-pay, no deductible, they even paid for the rental (just like Chevy is supposed to do). Moreover, since Chevrolet didn't have a "Chevy Rebuilt" engine in stock, I would receive a 100% new engine. So as I write this, it's 5 months later. My car is running great and I have nothing but thankfulness and respect for the work of the Ed Nelson, Augie Rojas and the mechanics at Best Chevrolet in Easley. I worked mostly with Ed. He treated me with respect, was helpful as can be, returned my emails and calls promptly and helped me navigate through this situation.

She set up for me to come to the dealership to see the vehicle I was looking at and I met Duck Emory at the dealership. Duck was very helpful in explaining the vehicle and all. Once we got inside, I explained that I had everything set up with Hannah and he went to get all the info. Everything that Hannah informed me and to what I wanted was the final price. I was super impressed on how well they were all set up and how quick and easy the finance all went. This dealership is totally awesome and very friendly from start to finish. I highly recommend them !!! Thanks Hannah and Duck for making our car buying experience stress free.

At the end of this time, I had been presented with a sales proposal that made no sense. I had been quoted a price on the truck at the beginning of $19000 which turned out to NOT be the actual price. I had asked for the price of the truck for confirmation, no answer. I had asked for their offer on my trade in, again no answer. I had asked for a Car Fax report on the truck 5 times , again, no answer. Manager said he was too busy to print it for me. As I was leaving, the manager said the price was 29,999. I laughed. To top it off. I have received emails and phone calls from the Truck Farm asking me to complete a survey about how I'm enjoying my recent purchase of my 2023 F150. I was looking at a 2018 Chevy.
