The service lasted a good hour and a half and the room was packed. I was fortunate to attend with my other childhood best friend and we sat with the family/friends in the reserved seating in front, as we both spoke at the service. The architecture is gorgeous and the staff was amazing throughout the entire service. Very well organized and the staff shared compassion and sympathy with all in attendance.

I didn't know what to expect. I had heard horror stories of upselling, and even pressure sales at such a vulnerable time in folks lives. Mandy NEVER did that at all!! She was EXTREMELY gracious and pleasant. She was caring as she guided me through the process and helped answer questions and concerns I didn't even know I had. Never once did I feel pressured or pushed. Mandy herself has been so very helpful and gracious. Our funeral is this weekend, and thanks to Mandy and Smiths funeral home, I have been able to just mourn and not stress the process. Forever grateful!

Their phone system is automated, rarely sends you to a real person, and is slower than email. They also messed up the death certificate, filed it incorrectly, and want me to pay an extra fee for correcting their mistake. We did not even get to publish an obituary because they charge $150 dollars (?!) to send it to the paper. The office they had me come to when I picked up her remains is basically a closet in a business center. Did not feel respectful. They are NOT cheap or simple. Would never use them again.

Some folks coming with us are Non - Ambulatory, and I don't want them to have to wait in the car by themselves while I go into the Office to find exact plot locations. Her helpful nature will help Roselawn sell our family more services. We want to know our loved ones are sleeping in a cemetery with employees who are open, approachable, and kind. I have had issues with cemeteries in Georgia and Massachusetts where you have to have a certified, typed letter from the next of kin to find our family, yet my elderly family members are in the car wanting to know where their mother and father are. Doing this is absolutely cruel to do to a family member, especially the infirm. Checking out a cemetery with an elderly family member is not always a planned trip like ours to Roselawn is. Thank you for hiring Brittany. She is and will be increasing your business.
