You must use a credit card or have exact change. The building is well marked and has many services ranging from Rheumatology and Pain Clinics to a Grief Support Program. I was happy to see they had a location just two blocks from my office. No appointment needed! I was a little worried that the no appointment part would mean I'd have to wait in a room full of cranky people for an hour but that wasn't the case I was in and out of there, including check-in, waiting room, changing into gown, x-rays and changing back into my clothes in under 10 minutes. Wow. Getting a meal from any vendor at the food court around the corner would have been longer. From the front desk to the lady who gave the changing instructions to the X Ray tech, everyone was super friendly, fast and professional. The tech gave very clear instructions on how I needed to position myself and was very polite in making any adjustments. They actually all seemed really happy to be there. You know the stressed out feeling a lot of medical places have? Not here! I don't really plan on needing any other X-rays in the near future but if I did, or if I needed any other tests they offer, I think I'd try this location again.

The doctor seemed like he was in a bit of a rush (I didn't get his name and he wasn't wearing a name tag) but he was thorough and quick in examining me. He provided some treatment and we discussed it a bit and then I was on my way again. Overall, pleasant experience (other than me being sick in the first place).

The reception staff are all some if the rudest women I have ever encountered and really should not be working with patients in any way. Very insensitive and just mean spirited people. All the doctors are the laziest people I have ever met, but Dr. Collette takes the cake. Barely utters a word when he walks in. Doesn't bother to listen to anything you say and makes you feel like an idiot who has nothing wrong with you (whem any other MD says otherwise) or diagnoses the wrong thing because he rushes to throw drugs at you so he can go and sit in the back for 5 hours until he wanders into the next room to screw up his next patient. So unless every other medical centre in Canada is closed, save yourself 4 useless hours of your life and go anywhere else!

I felt like not only did they do an amazing job with my checks (PAP, Breast Exam and IUD removal) but they do their best to impart knowledge as to the process, and what you can expect after procedures. Dr Wong, the clinic owner is incredible, I will definitely go back. I only wish more doctors took this patient-forward approach. Many times at other clinics, I've felt like a number on a production line, I felt like as soon as the doctor walks into a consult they are already trying to get rid of you. When my coverage was approved, I was allowed to get reimbursement for the appointments I had three months prior to my application. When I returned to the ornery receptionist at the X-ray clinic she referred me to her head office. When I called them and explained my situation the person there was extremely friendly and had my case already on file. I received a reimbursement check with no problems. It was one of the smoothest transactions I have ever done with the health field. Thanks RCA for your quick payment and "easy to work with" demeanour.

Non emergencies could have gone to their family Doctor or a urgent care faculty. Being rude is not going to get special treatment of any kind. Yes, it's hard on everyone's mental patients of waiting. I'm not a person that goes to the hospital with a sniffle or a cough or even a fever. To some people they feel this is their only option, and with this it puts a stain on the emergency system. The nurses took very good care of my mom from the time she arrived to the time she was admitted for a stay. With extensive testing they did find many issues and is now being treated. (Even my dad has been to this hospital 8 years ago for a medical emergency. Even back then we had great medical attention) Kindness, Friendliness with a smile is what you'll get in return. With that said: it makes the medical staff feel better while doing this stressful job they love. -Easy access from Deerfoot Trail or Stoney Trail in the deep south -Emergency parking is pay parking -Limited free 2 hour street parking on the south side. (Good luck in finding a spot) -Plenty of underground pay parking for longer hospital visits or short. For a hospital that is 10 years old still has plenty of room for expansion and is in a great location to service Calgary south and towns. I would like to say I would be returning because of the great prognosis and treatment. But medically I hope not.

She had booked an appointment at this clinic in advance and to my surprise, was able to see someone within a few weeks. Upon arrival, my client checked in and we waited. I spotted a sign on the wall that encourages patients to notify front reception if they've waited for more than 30min. I'm glad they have this sign because after waiting this long, at least my client felt justified to complain. I watched everyone else in the waiting room come and go, so I'm not sure what happened there. I liked that music was playing and there are nice photos of some of the physicians on display. I sat in on part of the meeting between my client and the doctor, who was rather lovely. She was soft spoken and friendly. To my surprise, the doctor informed us that the clinic does not provide referrals. My client had specifically asked that question on the phone when booking the appointment and she was told otherwise. At least my client was able to get some important tests done and felt good afterward about being able to express her concerns without being brushed off.
