I would talk to the artist and let them know what I was interested in having done and made an appointment for sometime in the future when they had an opening. Today I got lucky and got to have it done right away! Everything is always clean and the artists are nice and always make sure they're on the same page with you. All protocols are followed. I have never felt like they rushed through getting ready and I really appreciate it! I'm adding some photos to this review. These are some of the tattoos my daughters and I have and they were all done here! These people are artists! I've taken in some very basic ideas of what I want and they come up with some really cool ideas. I've had some people say they would feel uncomfortable since they're older - they feel like they wouldn't fit in. I'm 65 years Ike and I have never felt uncomfortable, or like I didn't belong. They're professionals doing their craft! I'll definitely be back when I'm ready for another one!

A week or so later I noticed that the line work was not good and bc it's on the outer part of my ankle it was just hard to see bc of the angle. I took pix of it and I was angry Bc it like a kid colored outside the lines! I contacted john the owner and came in to show him what she did and he said he would fix it as best he could. Yesterday I went in expecting him to fix the crab but instead he touched up the whole thing and I'm super pleased! She's no longer working there and I would recommend him in a heartbeat! Yesterday was a 5 star visit

Kat agreed to take us on. After she started the first one, she verbalized concerns about doing the diamond shapes, stating they'd be circles. Then at Kat's suggestion she shaded and highlighted the tattoos. None of them turned out. See photo again. They look nothing like the design, the lines are fuzzy and crooked, each looked different. Clearly, we should not have paid $300 for these. She knew we were dissatisfied, took our cash only money plus a very generous tip, and offered to fix them later. No way we would accept that offer. Lesson learned. I recommend you go elsewhere and do your research.

We all came in on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins. Casey, Ton, and Berto handled all of us so well and so professionally. My tattoo didn't take long at all and yet I never felt like the artist was rushing. The staff also all have a great sense of humor. I love about 45 minutes away, but I will definitely be back for my next tattoo. Please note that they are a cash only establishment, but don't worry! There are like 3 ATMs in walking distance and the prices are very reasonable.

Super clean shop where they do tattoo and piercings. Their two piercers ONLY do piercing, and they're good at it. They'll design your whole ear for you and do some really fun things. Caleb helped me and he was such a treasure from start to finish. I had an old piercing that was almost blown out so we opted to do two piercings slightly above it, and I love it. I also got an extra cartilage piercing. Such a great experience but...it's expensive. I researched piercing prices prior since I haven't gotten one in over a decade and knew that these weren't the cheap Claire's piercings I used to get as a teenager, so I expected to spend a couple hundred. I walked out spending $500. I about died when he told me the price. None of the earrings are less than $60-$70 with most over $100. And there was no conversation/open forum to chat about the actual piercing cost. It's definitely partially my fault for not asking in the first place but it was definitely sticker shock. Make sure to ask for all prices up front before getting any services. The service was great and Caleb made me feel very welcome and relaxed but it still feels like a lot for a couple easy ear piercings.

For our first anniversary, he finally decided he wanted to get a tattoo with me....but we were only a couple days out and I did not want to do a walk in for a tattoo like this. I asked a couple other artists and they recommended me over to Rae. I looked at her work and loved it and hoped she could fit us in. I'm not sure what kind of miracle we had but Rae was INCREDIBLE. Starting from initial communication she was fantastic to work with. She came in on her day off for us (something I will never ask of her again haha!) but she made our anniversary so special. She's so cool, easy to talk to, and her art is freaking incredible. We literally cannot wait to come back and get our color added. I've already created a list of other pieces I want her to do, she's amazing. I also have gotten a small tattoo by Jo at a different shop before they came over to Cousin Paul's, but I wanted to give a shoutout to them because my brother and I both agree that Jo is the most gentle shader we have ever experienced in getting tattoos. The group of tattooers in this shop are top notch. They have snacks, drinks, and make you feel so welcome. And so many different styles of tattoo. I highly, highly recommend checking them out!
