Extreme disappointment regarding the quality and installation of the 18 Simonton windows I…read morepurchased from JDI. The overall product quality is unsatisfactory, and the installation was subpar. I continue to experience drafts and excessive noise through all the windows. The amount of noise I receive from planes (I live nowhere near an airport) and cars is crazy; it was never like this with my old builder grade windows. Furthermore, the caulking is very sloppy. The owner said he was ok with the work and threatened to place a lien on my property the day after the windows were installed if I didn't pay, even though I was not satisfied. Following the owner's suggestion, I completed a Home Energy Audit. I have attached a few photos from that audit which clearly demonstrate significant temperature differences. I have also attached videos demonstrating the air leakage using a fog machine.(I can't attach all the pictures and videos I have and would be happy to share) After I called the troubleshooter radio show, the owner sent a crew to insulate three of the windows that I felt were the worst (which helped a little). I was then asked to pay for the insulation of the remaining windows. It is unclear why new windows would be installed without proper spray foam insulation in the first place. Additionally, two of the windows still do not close or lock correctly, even after the sashes were replaced twice. Given my significant investment, this has been a regrettable experience.

I've had WestPro come quote the same job twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025. It was two very…read moredifferent experiences to the point of being hard to believe it's the same company. The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.

Amari was friendly and patient, walking us through the different options and offerings. I was sold! This was the third window quote I'd received, and I really appreciated the straightforward pricing and easy financing options. It took about three months from our initial meeting to installation. On install day, it was super cold and the crew worked efficiently, cleaned up quickly, and communicated well throughout the process. The supervisors kept us informed of their progress and were happy to answer any questions. It's only been a few days, but we haven't had any issues so far. I'd definitely recommend talking to Performance Windows if you're considering a window replacement.

BEWARE, this whole "advertising home" thing is a massive scam…read more Someone came to our home telling us we had been selected as one of two rare advertising homes and said someone would follow up with more info. The pitch was that if we had windows installed and put their sign up in the yard and left them good reviews they would give us 50% off the price of windows and free install. The "marketing coordinator" (salesperson) who came for the follow up informational meeting tried to take advantage of the fact we hadn't done any advanced research (since we weren't actively seeking out quoted for new window, which she knew) and tried to convince us pella/anderson windows for our home would be $75k and so performance windows at $35k were a screaming bargain. This was not an informational meeting, it was a bait and switch sales move. She told us that we had to sign on the spot and drop half the amount ($17k) otherwise when she walked out the door the deal was gone. She was trying to pass completely made up inflated numbers as fake "competitor pricing" in order to make her offer look like a discount so we would fall for the exploding offer. Thank god for chatGPT. A few questions quickly returned a realistic estimate for windows for our home ($18-20k for vinyl windows, not $35k) and explained the whole advertising home scheme, allowing us to call her bluff and decline the so called "deal". I would never do business with a company that uses pressure tactics and preys on unassuming folks who haven't done their research in order to lock in contracts under false pretenses. I hope everyone sees this review before they sign up to be an advertising home or even waste an hour of their precious time talking to Performance Windows sales people.

We just went through a difficult time with K&G Windows in the past year. We had used them before to…read morereplace 11 windows and wanted to replace 13 more. We contacted K&G in August of 2025 and got a quote, gave them down money and told it would be 6-8 weeks for the windows to come in and that they will contact us to schedule installation. Several months went by and no word from them. We reached out to K&G and for the next 10 months we got excuses, no windows and we always had to initiate communication with them. After pressing them they finally gave us an install date. They never showed up! We contacted them and we given another date to reschedule, you guessed it, they never got back to us. We were overly patient with K&G during this process but have had enough. They agreed to give us our down payment back which took 6 more weeks, and we got nothing but excuses why they didn't make the refund yet. We had to use a lawyer to get the money back and K&G finally paid us back the day before we were to file a lawsuit for Civil Fraud. Don't use K&G for your replacement windows. We were treated so poorly as a "returning" customer and no home owner should ever have to go through what we went through. Avoid them at all costs!

First, I can't say enough good things about our installers, Jerry and Jacob. They were talented, respectful, detailed, clean, and professional from start to finish. You'd never know new windows had gone in -- that's how much pride they took in the work. They deserve five stars on their own, and if you go with K&G, ask for them by name. You won't be disappointed. That's where the good part ends. Our windows were installed in February 2025. One window and one screen arrived damaged, and we were told replacements would follow quickly. What actually happened was a year of wrong-sized orders, repeated excuses, and no real accountability from the owner. Eventually, Greg connected us with the distributor directly, and a representative there finally sourced the correct window and screen. That resolution was completed on July 24, 2026 -- nearly a year and a half after installation. We held up our end throughout: paid on time, worked around K&G's scheduling, and stayed patient far longer than we should have had to. The pricing was fair, and the installation itself was excellent -- that's the only reason I'm not giving this one star. But no customer should have to wait over a year for a replacement part. I can recommend Jerry and Jacob without hesitation. I cannot recommend the ownership's follow-through or customer service.
