They offer a variety of classes - barre (body), spin (rev), trampoline cardio (bounce), and flexibility/stretch (hammock). I've taken each type of class and love them all!! Bonus for busy mom's out there - they also offer child care during class! The studio is beautiful and spacious. They have lockers and cubbies, and showers in the restrooms. You can rent spin shoes if you don't have your own or buy a pair through them. There's a nice retail selection of sticky socks (that you'll need for body), workout pants, and tops. If you are looking up to change up your workout routine (or start one!), Define is the place to do it!

The facility is new, fresh looking and has 2 shower rooms, 2 bathrooms, and towels to use. The bathrooms have tampons, panty liners, and deodorant. The shower rooms usually have towels in them (I'm unsure if you need to bring your own now) they have shampoo and conditioner. It's wonderful! There are classes that might be too hard, too easy, or just right , but just like the porridge and Goldie locks- learn what you like and go with it! They've got incredibly diverse classes available to all capabilities, I'm currently only taking the Yoga classes. I've heard great things about the cycle portion from both instructors to students. I've tried most classes at some point and I have yet to go to a class that I didn't like, there are some tough classes here that I needed to work to push through (and became frustrated with myself), but have never felt left out to dry or fail in a class. There were always encouraging words or ways offered to revise a movement to suit what my capabilities were. (USE YOUR BLOCKS! ;). ) I've never felt I needed to push beyond what I was able and am consistently grateful for the energy this place gives me and leaves me with during my long stressful weeks. They have their yoga classes in dark heated rooms and it makes classes so soothing at the end of a hectic day, you'll adore the atmosphere, the energy, the instructors, the facilities, the welcome, and the warm goodbyes! If I were to mention downsides it would only be 2: The cost (recently risen), it makes classes and workouts unattainable to many in a consistent manner. Last, the cost of a drop in class is unreasonably high. It's roughly $20 currently. It's almost cheaper to buy a monthly membership than do 4/5 drop classes a wk.

Vibe: Infrared heat. Neon glow. A modern movement playground…read more Energy: Stay present. That's where aliveness lives. Guide: Kyla Glatt * Infrared Yoga Flow I'd definitely classify Kyla as the Philosopher-Healer archetype, which makes sense because the class description promises "therapeutic beats set the tone for class." Throughout class, she shared little nuggets of wisdom (one of the reasons I'm in love with yoga). Some favorites: "Yoga doesn't take time. It gives us time." "Your intention isn't a destination. It's the journey." "Breathe light into the dark corners of your body." The flow was smooth & accessible to all levels. Beginners could follow along as Kyla demonstrated most of the poses, while more experienced practitioners had opportunities to explore expressions like Bound Half Moon & Bird of Paradise. Kyla blended Sanskrit cues, English cues, demonstrations, & gentle alignment adjustments throughout class. The music moved through contemporary country, uplifting feel-good tracks, & then softened into Trevor Hall's You Can't Rush Your Healing, echoing everything Kyla had been teaching. The Heat: Infrared is sneaky. I never actually felt hot -- not once -- yet by the end of class, my mat was completely drenched. That's the magic of infrared heat. Tribe: Friendly & Approachable. I walked in alongside another newbie & immediately felt comfortable. The dark room & neon glow made it easy to drop right in. Space & Place: Ignite is tucked into a quiet corner of Sioux Falls. I was warmly greeted by Kyla, signed a waiver, & given a tour of the studio. The studio is clean, bright, & fun. Inspirational artwork, cheerful retail displays, & plenty of amenities. Private showers, fresh towels, & a spotless restroom. The practice room itself shifts gears completely. Black walls, exposed industrial ceilings, infrared panels overhead, mirrors at the front of the room create a sleek, immersive environment. The purple glow, infrared heat, and subtle color-changing lights give the room a playful personality. Since I planned to spend the week exploring Sioux Falls yoga studios, I happily took advantage of their generous FREE first class & purchased their intro-week special. The Treasure: Beyond the wisdom, a chilled wet towel pressed onto my forehead during savasana was heaven! 2nd Class * Infrared Yoga Strong Guide: Heidi Blom The first song that came on was by The Police, and in hindsight, perhaps the Universe was trying to warn me....because this was definitely more FIRE than flow: Squats w/weights. Lunges w/weights. Warrior III w/weights. Core work w/weights. Jumping jacks. Fist pumps. More lunges. More squats. More jumping...You get the idea. To be fair, Heidi delivered exactly what the class promised: a "STRONG" full-body workout in the heat. If you're looking to build strength and leave feeling thoroughly worked, this is your class! Me? I came looking for yoga and found my inner warrior. Nice to visit. Still choosing flow. Practical Notes: * Infrared heated classes * Plenty of room between mats * Free parking * Retail area with yoga essentials * Childcare available during select hours (a rare & wonderful perk in the yoga world) * Strong schedule with options ranging from flow classes to more fitness-focused offerings Field Note: Flow or Fire? After sampling both, I've learned that while the warrior's path is worthy, I'm happiest in the dance.

Form Fitness * Power Vinyasa Yoga * Chelsea S. * Sioux Falls, South Dakota…read more * Vibe: Community-oriented. Approachable. Beginner-friendly. This felt like walking into a studio where people genuinely know one another. Before class, there was soft conversation between familiar faces. Nothing distracting - just the easy connection that forms when people practice together regularly. * Music: One song definitely stood out: "Dearly Departed" - Shakey Graves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmo5u9OjafE&list=RDrmo5u9OjafE&start_radio=1) At the peak of class, we were dipping through crescent lunges to the rhythm of the music. * Guide: Chelsea S. Before class began, Chelsea was chatting with students by name outside the yoga room, giving the studio a friendly, community feel. Once we settled in, she introduced herself and asked if there was anything we'd like to work on after the weekend, setting a conversational tone from the very beginning. * Classic Yoga Class: We began in Child's Pose before gradually climbing into one long, continuous flow. The sequencing was smooth & accessible, with options available for those wanting more challenge, including Flying Splits from Chaturanga. After the flow portion, we moved into core work, balancing poses, and eventually grounded stretching before settling into savasana with a cold, wet towel placed in the palm of our hand. Chelsea primarily used English cues with occasional Sanskrit & demonstrated most of the postures throughout class (approachable for new students & challenging enough for experienced practitioners). * The Heat: Warm, not hot. Just enough warmth to get the body moving. I gathered a light sweat - nothing shower-worthy - but enough to feel awake and energized for the day. * Tribe: Friendly. Familiar. Multi-generational. One of my favorite surprises was seeing pre-teens practicing alongside adults. It was my first time flowing with young yogis, and honestly, it was a treat. I love seeing yoga reach our youth! The community felt established without feeling exclusive. Newcomers (voilà--me) were welcomed with ease, while regulars seemed genuinely connected. * What Lives Here? Healthy movement. Consistency. Community. (That was pretty palpable.) * Space & Place: Bright. Open. Inviting. Form Fitness feels like a community wellness hub, with natural light, curated retail displays, and touches of greenery throughout. The yoga room features padded floors, natural light, and gentle warmth. * Practical Notes: Plenty of free parking Lockers with locks provided Private showers Male and female restrooms Dressing areas * The Sum-Up Friendly people. Community-oriented. Approachable. Yoga is just one part of Form's wellness ecosystem, alongside barre, pilates, & TRX. It's a wonderful entry point for anyone curious about yoga & the wellness community. Young yogis welcome!
