He tells me that of all the cases he's seen mine had so much information. He was confident going into it. He spoke with 1 time before court for an hour and asked me questions about my illnesses. All he ever told me was that I'd be asked questions about it and for it affected my life. He spoke with me for a few mins a few days or so before court and asked if I had question. The day of court all he did was a short spill of my medical then the judge asked questions everything seemed just as he said until this person started in with jobs he says I could do. Along with codes and other stuff. I had never in my entire life heard any of this. never heard of the jobs before. I didn't know what was going on. The attorney sat quiet. I didn't know if any of this was good or bad. I honestly was taken off guard. After everything was done I spoke with him about what just happened. That's when I found out that the guy was saying jobs I could do. Basically a bunch of stuff no one ever prepared me for. I had never been put in this situation before therefore I didn't know if I was allowed to say anything during court. The attorney didn't so I just assumed I couldn't either. Come to find out later he should have said something or explained to me that maybe I should have interrupted. I didn't know I could interrupt a judge. Long story short I wasn't approved. I said you didn't prepare me for the court case I didn't know what was going on with the job thing. That is when he lied. He tried to say he did. I know he didn't because I called him after court and asked what all that was. I remember his response he didn't think he needed to say I couldn't do those jobs because his little spill before hand said it all. He even says he didn't want to interrupt the judge because he said she kept signing and sounding annoyed that it was taking so long. That was the moment I realized he wasn't a good attorney. He couldn't stand up for his client. But I'm kinda stuck with him. Today speaking to him on the phone I brought all this up again. He said I wasn't remembering correctly. He just kept lying and saying he had told me all this stuff that I was saying he didn't. I even said I'm sure these lines are recorded so maybe someone needs to go listen to them. I told him I wanted to speak with someone over him. He would send a message to him. He said something else i don't remember what it was because he hung up on me. so I waited a few mins and called back to schedule a meeting myself because I do not believe him since he continues to lie. The receptionist transfers me to him where he again hangs up on me. I thought when I went to this Attorneys office I was going to get a professional lawyer. I expected to get the best of the best because the company had been around for a long time. That was not the case. Extremely disappointed in the communication at the business, the unprofessionalism, and quality of attorney put on my case. Whatever anyone does do not use Daniel Messenger. We were having issues with our GC and needed clarification and advice on what we needed to do to resolve our conflicts. Our GC demanded we pay extra costs on our new home build (which we've never talked about, nor agreed to). We're at the 95% finish rate. We've paid all our drawers on time and basically the exterior of the home is almost done, but the GC wants to charge us another $12,000 for labor and supply we've never talked about. Throwing out fees/dues right as we are literally at the end game! So much so that they're threatening us if we don't pay, they're walking off job! Pathetic and so unfair on so many levels! Although, I wasn't able to hire Roberto to work on my case, because after talking to him and explaining what had happened and the legal avenues we could take, in the end, we'd end up paying so much more than $12,000. It's sad that we have to pay our hard earned money to a pathetic -and conniving General Contractor.
