My cousin told us she had recently been to a service at Casa Bonita and we started our search there first. We went no farther in our looking. Tim Cordova explained very completely what we could expect and even went so far as to tell us to shop around, but because of his knowledge and kindness we went no further. The facilities are beautiful and the staff is so helpful. Never tried to sell us more than we needed and explained so very clearly what all our next steps would be even going so far as to call the Catholic Cemetery to let them know we were coming their next. My Father in-law passed very shortly after this information meeting and we were so please at how Tim and staff made all the connections for the Military procession, Vigil, Church Mass and Cemetery. Very comforting to get all the information and know our plan with no guessing. It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one but having the details taken care of by Casa Bonita was a great blessing. They went so far as dropping of death certificates and plants to our home. Thank you Tim Cordova and all at Casa Bonita for making our farewell to our loved one a beautiful celebration of a wonderful life. God Bless you all. Kathy Eigenberger

Not to mention they put my uncles clothes on another deceased individual. Had to go buy my uncles similar clothes and they also lost my mom's portrait of my uncle. The material stuff we can get back, but the disrespect we received from Carlos during the funeral services is the one thing that cannot be undone as it ruined our experience at my uncles funeral services. It is not worth it, go to a different funeral home unless they change management.

It would never have occurred to me to write a review for them until I came across a ridiculously rude review below that I both reported and am offsetting with a positive review to put their rating back where it belongs. The grounds are beautiful, the ambience is peaceful and I feel good about selecting this site as a final resting place. ....throwing a temper tantrum and giving a location like this a negative review because you couldn't pee there- during covid no less- gives an entirely mislead perception of how it actually is to someone considering this as the final resting place for their loved one. They tried to short me two entire hours of my loved one's funeral service and ended up shorting me only one hour after I complained. At the planning meeting I informed them that I wanted to pay on assignment they agreed since that's one of the approved forms of payment they take. This was two weeks before the funeral. Then they proceeded to lie and say that my loved one's life insurance company didn't allow that type of payment and that I had no claim opened, but in reality they were the ones to call the insurance company and specifically say they were refusing the payment on assignment and wanted to be paid up front. And not wait the obligatory 20 days. When I informed them that I didn't have a way to pay them in cash which is why I chose the payment on assignment option they said "well if there's no payment there's no funeral or cremation" only a couple days before the funeral. They made it seem like they were holding my loved one's body hostage and only cared about their money. So not only was I dealing with the devastation of losing my loved one now I had to scramble to find cash to cover the costs since they will charge 3% for using a credit card. They lied multiple times to my face and they were very inconsiderate and lacked training. The only employee that I have nothing bad to say about was their receptionist Dylani. She was always very helpful and thoughtful. And then as a cherry on top Lenny the funeral director signed the guest book before any of the family or guests did. I was very irked by that because he wasn't family or a friend and signed it as a business card.
