I have been coming to this Goodwill for the past 6 years that i have lived in Winter Haven. All the…read morestaff is very nice and polite, everyday when you go in they treat you with kindness. The only problem is their prices! And please DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON THE WORKERS. I have made different interviews to the employees and costumers for a school project. What i came to find out is that the employees are the ones putting the prices of course but is the company, Goodwill suncoast the one that gives them the price list and they have to put it at that price, and the people from the Company Goodwill suncoast go to the store undercover to check if they have raised the prices and if they have not they get in BIG! Trouble. I dont think is fair what this company is doing. Most of the things from goodwill are donated and they are making HUGE PROFITS! From it. And they pay very little to their employees when they have to do all the work. The prices are just getting ridiculous, you can get a pair of jeans at the outlets for $10 to $15 brand new. BUT, it is not the employees fault, do not take it out on them. Grab the phone number of the general sales management from the company to make complaints. Goodwill was designed to help people not make profits out of everything and lower themselves some taxes.

Staff are always readily available to help you find what you are looking for. If you visit the store late night (9:30-11:00) you will witness the night crew fastidiously and efficiently restocking the inventory. It's a great time to shop while fewer customers are present and you can find what you need before it disappears the next day. Yesterday while in the store late afternoon, I experienced a sudden-onset episode of a chronic illness and wanted to thank their amazing employee named Claudia who came to my rescue. She was of tremendous help: so very professional and understanding, and I can't thank her enough. I will never forget her kindness!

Attention Walmart Shoppers who might use the delivery service. On Sunday August 2nd, I ordered…read moregroceries and I made a number of discoveries. 1. You can't always count on your order being delivered. 2. The delivery service is an independent contractor that is not part of Walmart. 3. If you call your friendly store because the tracker says the order was undeliverable, they let you know that they take no responsibility and you can't get a refund. 4. Your friendly local Walmart store, after much prodding will give you a National Call in Center number; and, you'll have to tell the entire story all over again. To be told again that you Will not be able to get a refund. After very serious dialogue they finally tell you that you must cancel your order to get a refund. 5. After nearly a five hour harangue, you are unable to resend the original order because the delivery order horizon is passed. So, my fellow Walmart shoppers, the customer service merry go round won't get you any satisfaction. I have documentation that I communicated with the shopper/driver and was informed that he was on its way and was within three minutes. Then suddenly the tracking system indicated that my order was undelivered and returned to the store within a three minute time horizon. It's all a ruse and if you feel it's a convenience, and it certainly has been for me and my family. I must tell you that Walmart takes no responsibility and truly does nothing by way of real customer service or satisfaction.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

I didn't feel like picking them so I bought one which had 8 peaches for 4.99. I was fine with that. They also had bags and baskets for 16.99 and up. They also let me try the white and yellow peaches and loved the yellow peaches way more. They had peach cobbler, ice cream, soft serve, and milkshakes. I did get a peach milkshake, but I couldn't taste the peach at all. That's where I was a bit bummed, but happy I bought a small instead of large. They have rocking chairs here, a couple tables and a food truck called Chaufa Mania which gave samples of their Peruvian Chaufa(fried rice). It was so good. Here you can also get some local produce like their corn, some fruit like peaches and blueberries, and juices. You can try samples of their juices. I did love orange juice here. They will be retiring and a new owner will take over in a new spot. This was a perfect chill spot sitting in their rocking chairs while the rain passed.
