Personalized service and professional. I look forward to my monthly massage and the addition of the infrared sauna is wonderful.

They have a lap pool and they also have a warmer pool that includes a lazy river and a couple of lap lanes, along with the children's play area. We were there on a weekday afternoon well swim lessons were going on, but had plenty of space to use one lap lane and the lazy river. They have a set of steps to enter by the lazy river and they have a chairlift that enters into one of the lanes. There's also a hot tub that has steps with a rail to get in. In the family locker room there are two accessible changing rooms with a bathroom and shower, including a shower bench and adjustable showerhead. They have an automatic door opener, which is phenomenal, however, the lock is up pretty high, which makes it less accessible for wheelchair users, and short people. there are two other changing rooms in the family locker space that don't have the automatic button, adjustable showerhead, or shower bench, or grab bars on the toilet, but are still fairly large and have space for a wheelchair user There was plenty of accessible parking and automatic doors to get into the building. The space exiting was pretty tight due to how they have the chairs arranged, somebody with a larger wheelchair may have to exit through the entry lane. We also used the steam room, there was no automatic door, but the door wasn't terribly heavy. We've been to lots of rec centers in the Denver Metro area, and this is definitely one of the most accessible

If you want to play racquetball, you can check out Paddles from the front desk, workout classes upstairs, they even have kids events after hours. If you are working out and have children, make sure to drop them off in the children's pavilion while you work out and then you can take them into the pool, which does include a waterslide and a lazy river. If you want to go swim laps, they do have an open lap pool on the opposite side away from the kid pool, which is nice. There is no outdoor pool, which is the only downfall.

I could only leave a message; I was unable to speak to a human being. This does not work for me at all. I did leave a message and am awaiting a return call. This is really poor business practice, in my opinion. It is not clear from the website. I have been to several local pools only to find out - surprize! Not enough lifeguards, no slides during the week, etc, etc. I have guests coming in from out of town. I need confirmed activities.

The only good part is you get paid decently. But the "management" is chaotically disorganized, dishonest, and ultimately horrific. They fail to staff their facilities well if at all most time and will completely disregard your availability. As a former lifeguard, we don't want to be like this either. If we don't kick guests out of lap for not swimming laps, or take our eyes off the water to make sure your crying son is okay, we get punished. Blame management not the guards, we're just as annoyed as you. This facility is also incredibly dirty, as they only allow 30 minutes of cleaning. The water, floors, and overall facility is disgusting. Senior guards 99% of the time don't help, and don't enforce cleaning on the guards either.

A wonderful anniversary experience at Oakwell!…read more This was our first time coming to Oakwell - A friend recommended this experience when I was trying to decide what to gift my husband for our anniversary. Booking was easy and I opted to purchase some add ons for our anniversary. The staff were super friendly and walked us through what to expect from our experience. They provide insulated cups for the beer so it stays nice and cold! The room was equipped with a shower, sauna, and hot tub. The staff suggested a particular order of use and I'm glad we followed their advice as it felt like we had the perfect amount of time in each area of the room! We had so much fun that my husband gifted me another Oakwell experience as a Christmas present. We recently moved to the suburbs so we will be trying the suburban location next. We can't wait!

My best friend and her hubs were in one room and we were in the other with our own tubs. They ask you to get there at least 30 mins before your appointment to have you select which herb bundle you want for your soak (we went with the energizing IPA which was complimentary as well as the Muscle Relaxing Lager that was a $10 add-on). They take you to the self-serve drink taps where you can sample their beer, wine, or spritzes. You're given your own insulated cup and you can choose your beverage before heading into the spa. We had the ADA room which was larger than the other and able to fit 4 of us in the sauna. They recommend 15 mins in the private sauna, a cold shower rinse, and then the remainder of the time in the tub. The tub starts draining 20 mins before your session is up to give you time to get out and shower. The jets are going the whole time so that pretty much muffles any exterior sound and we did have to raise our voices a bit to hear eachother from tub to tub, but it was great! The little details they've added really enhance the experience. It's a nice touch you can add a birthday or anniversary banner for $10. They give you sandals to wear in the spa so you don't need to bring your own. I loved the little talking prompts all around the spa and in the sauna to strike up conversation. It actually brought our group closer and we learned things about eachother we didn't know before. They hang robes in your room so you can pop out of the tub and go into the lobby to fill your drink OR there's a call button in the room for one of the staff to come in and refill your drink for you. There is a lock on the door so when it's time to shower (which is completely open to the room) you can lock up and no one can come in. The showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had our garage door closed for that so each couple had their privacy. They also have a communal room to blow dry your hair equipped with lotion, hair ties, deodorant, etc. After our soaking experience which was very relaxing, we sat in their cooling / quiet area to unwind. We decided to add on the 15 minute anti-gravity massage chairs for $20 and I'm so glad we did. The room was so relaxing with the sound of waterfalls and stars on the ceiling. Those chairs are legit. We all loved our massages. Paul was a rockstar and provided excellent service. He adjusted our chair settings and helped us with whatever we needed. It was a perfect way to start my birthday weekend. My only gripe is they add a 20% gratuity to your whole bill so it was pretty pricey (over $700 for the 4 of us). Wish there was an option to add on what you like or have it applied to a portion of the service, not the add-ons. But other than that, it was a wonderful, unique experience and someplace I'd return to.

Went for leg compression first. I reclined and chatted with my friends. This 15 min flew by and felt so good on my sore muscles. Sauna was nice and dry which gave the perfect amount of sweat without feeling sticky. Quick rinse and it was game time. If I'm being honest, the cold tub was torturous. I went from gasping for air to calm to the most violent shivering on earth. Then into the hot tub where my skin felt like it was on fire. Then back to violence. Was it horrifying? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. I closed it off with red light therapy and left this place absolutely buzzing. Whatever happened in that 37 degree death trap resulted in some sort of high that I can't explain. I feel like I could run through a wall. I found this place via Tim at a wellness event and he is awesome to chat with. The employee on site, KB, is an absolute gem. She walked us through every step so thoroughly and cheered us on through all the shivers. I will definitely be incorporating this into my routine.
