Today Lake Park attracts artists and has a brewery, vintage stores, tattoo shop, art supply store, and other creative businesses. Attic Fanatics is a vintage market made up of seven vendors. I discovered this store while exploring the monthly Rust Market, a vintage flea market held on the third Saturday of every month. In conjunction with the market, Attic Fanatics was having a sidewalk sale. Inside there were several rooms packed with interesting items including toys, collectibles, housewares, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations, and decor. I loved the vintage Florida souvenirs and flamingos, glassware, and casserole dishes. They had a set of vintage Pyrex bowls in the turquoise color I adore but out of my price range at $275. They also have a room of books. The people working were very friendly. This was a fun store to explore and take a trip down memory lane.

I bought the most beautiful desk from this store, hand painted chinoiserie style. Only $200! An…read moreunbelievable price for one of the prettiest desks I've seen. There were several other desks, as well as a headboard, that I really wanted but didn't have a need for. I was already sold on this store because of the inventory and incredible prices. Then tonight we had our scheduled delivery with Jonathan -- he went above and beyond. He was incredible. He had not been told that we had stairs, and he single handedly carried the desk upstairs. A drawer wasn't coming out of the desk, and he got a lot of tools out from his truck and figured out what the issue was. Then he saw my husband unpacking a console for our kitchen, and he offered to help. We refused but he insisted, so we let him -- he got the thing set up (with our pathetic help where we could) in such little time. THEN, he saw that our new place had a light in the kitchen hanging ridiculously low, about 4 feet off the ground. He let us know that we could fix that, then he just went and fixed it himself! Jonathan made our night and made our new home a better place to live in. Thank you!!

Having had such a wonderful encounter with Heath and Co. (also in Antique Row) I wanted to see what else I could discover along the "Row". Well, much to my pleasure I found Re Vue Antiques. The owner whose name is Sonny was a charming and very likeable gentleman. He has a very lovely and well-appointed store. He has a very large variety of furnishings and brick-a-brack, as well as an amazing selection of lucite items. I was hoping to chip away at my Christmas list and was happily satisfied. Sonny was very kind in that I told him I was looking for a couple of small, but nice gifts for family. He steered me to a fabulous display of small crystal pieces. (It was an impressive variety to be sure, with all kinds and names to choose from.) I wound up purchasing a couple of small Lalique pieces, at a VERY reasonable price. (Happily for me, prices had flexibility!) My opinion of Re Vue is that for a great selection (as well as selections to satisfy any budget), it's a must visit. I literally spent a good hour just trying to see everything he has to sell. I will definitely return and I would recommend to anyone that a better day could not be spent strolling around, this treasure trove.

This is more estate sale stuff of furniture decor and more than a discount thrift store…read more... They describe themselves as "upscale". Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. We didn't find anything we liked well enough to buy today, but that's not saying you won't.

According to their Facebook page they have been in business since 2013. They are estate buyers so their merchandise is always changing depending on what they are purchasing . I have tried estate sales before but it feels like trespassing, going through someone's house that you know just died and picking through their stuff as their photos stare at you from the walls. Of course not everyone has died. Some people just want to sell a household of stuff in bulk before a move. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Although they didn't have a huge amount of items, what they do have warrants a look if you are in the area.

The parking isn't vast so one could run into a pickle if shopping on the weekend. Business hours are limited so I recommend checking these out before visiting. The store is two stories. The second story is housed with art and furniture. The first story offers a wide variety of merchandise. Some items available include accessories, books, collectibles, clothing, housewares, and small furniture items. They offer weekly specials and have a convenient sheet outlining these for customers to grab on their way into the store. Overall, I found most of the merchandise to be fairly priced with the exception of clothing. I thought many garments were overpriced. I left with a few collectible items and I'd absolutely return. Finally, Christina and her fellow team member are extremely friendly and provided us with excellent customer service.

Staff were friendly and greeted us when we came in. For the most part, they let you shop without assistance, unless you ask someone for help. The store carries everything from home decor, furniture, clothing, accessories, shoes, books, entertainment, and kitchenware items. All of the areas were clearly labeled and marked, which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Personally I didn't buy anything there, but what I did see seemed to be priced very fairly and reasonably. Good option for those on a budget or those looking for items without paying retail pricing. There are multiple designated spots in the plaza labeled for the shop. If you are shopping at other businesses in the area, please be mindful as the signs for Nearly New warn that they will tow people who are not shopping in their store for parking for other businesses.
