He received a check from the insurance company & then went unresponsive. I had to leave him a message posing as a potential customer looking to sell a home in order get get him to return a call. When I finally got him on the phone, he acted like everything was great and that he was just waiting on a commission before he could pay his bill. I would never recommend this person or trust this person to list my home or business in any real estate transaction. Dan Beazley sold our home in Livonia. We had purchased a water-front condo unexpectedly, and…read moreneeded to prepare and sell our house ASAP. Dan did a great job from top to bottom, especially in steering us away from unscrupulous realtors and purchasers. He warned that one all-too-familiar tactic was to offer the full listing price and to then walk into closing and demand a significant price reduction, knowing that the sellers were "over a barrel" at that point. One such realtor, who refused to identify himself when confronted, showed up before the advertised first showing date with carloads of people, unannounced and uninvited, and then let them walk all around outside, climb up onto the deck, and even look into windows - all while we were sitting at the table eating lunch. He also kept trying to get into the house with his clients for an unsupervised "tour," both before and after the first showing date. Dan helped us fend him off and obtain 3 excellent offers from good-faith purchasers within 24 to 48 hours of the first showing. The sale went off without a hitch as Dan maneuvered through the challenging inspection process - even saving us significantly on commission by serving as buyer's agent as well. Thanks to Dan, we were able to close on our dream condo - on time and unbruised. The importance of hiring a realtor who "knows the lay of the land" cannot be overstated.

I love that he is always honest and straight with you. He works so hard to get you what you want. I had an issue with cat smell in my house (I fostered kittens) and Jim loaned me a machine that neutralized the scent in the house. He negotiated well with buyers and didn't let me get taken advantage of. I was very happy with the sales price of my home. He also helped my tremendously with the purchase of my condo even though he was not my realtor for that transaction. I had a different realtor help me purchase a condo because I was looking in an area that Jim was not familiar with. Nevertheless, he helped me so much whether it was giving me advice to give my (newbie) realtor, actually calling the seller's realtor on multiple occasions when my realtor couldn't get ahold of him, or writing up my offer for me to make sure I was being protected. I can't thank Jim enough for the help he gave me when he wasn't even being paid to do so. I managed to sell my house and buy my condo at the same time so that I didn't have to find living quarters in between. Best case scenario! I would HIGHLY recommend Jim to anyone!

I met with Todd Taliaferro and Lauriel Pardo in the Spring to talk about what we were looking for and our price range for houses in the Plymouth/Canton/Northville/Novi area. Lauriel became our buying agent (although she is also a selling agent), and we can't imagine having anyone better. She was incredible! Very responsive, super friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the whole house buying process. My wife and I had actually worked with other agents in other areas, and Lauriel was hands-down the best agent we worked with. We ended up with a nice house than we thought we could afford, in a an area we thought we had no chance of getting into, and for a price that was on the lower end of our prince range - we still can't believe it! I dont know about other agents, but even after we closed the deal, she has been helpful with paperwork we needed to submit to the townhall and everything else involved after buying a first home. If you're looking to buy or sell a home in the Plymouth/Canton/Northville/Novi/Livonia area, do yourself a HUGE favor and get Lauriel as your agent - you will be so happy you did!
