There were still a few restaurants open waterside and we chose Ristorante Pontile because of the varied menu and the historic building in which it is located.
We started with grilled artichokes (European artichokes don't have a hard choke, so you can eat the entire thing); fritto misto (fried shellfish), pasta, and dry white wine.
Although the restaurant is listed as pricey, you can look at the attached menus to see how reasonably priced most items are.
Although the servers spoke very little English and we spoke very Italian, we got along and he was most courteous and attentive.
