We stumbled on this place via a Facebook advertisement. We had been trying to find another venue to move to because our current one was not cooperating because of pandemic uncertainty. After talking with Haley in person about our day and what we were looking for our of this place, we absolutely could not pass it up. The only day they had available for the Fall was the day we were going to get married on, September the 11th. Working with Haley throughout our journey to the big day was very easy and we experienced no issues the entire time with any of the planning, coordination with vendors, or anything that kept changing on our end that we needed to communicate with. We were offered a food tasting with our families, then got to have our rehearsal dinner here as well. Even on our big day, we had the ceremony and reception in the same place. On our big day, I was working on a lot of the last minute set up or overviews of the venue while my wife was getting ready. Everything was absolutely perfect, and the staff here kept me as calm as I could have been. The ceremony looked beautiful as well as the reception. All of the coordination was done correctly and efficiently. Our guests who attended the wedding regularly talk about how beautiful it was as well as how great the food was! We could not have asked for a better experience and a better day for our wedding. Very impressed with how efficient and prepared this venue was to host an event.

Apparently they have two different clubhouses but only one is female friendly. Hmm. Not sure how I feel about that, but oh well. Plus you can't wear jeans here. Whaaaatttttt. Luckily I had brought a skirt with me otherwise I would've been screwed. Apparently there was some kind of golf outing that day so the clubhouse was basically dead and we were the only people there aside from the workers. This place, considering it's a golf course, has some pretty legit food. We had the mac and cheese bites, which were great. Then I had some pulled pork sliders that had gouda cheese and grilled onions on them, which were fabulous. But the main thing I guess people love is their homemade potato chips. They were amazing. After we ate, we just relaxed on some of their couches and watched college football for a few hours. There were a few other people that came and went, but overall it stayed pretty slow like when we got there. My friend did take us on a little bit of a tour of the area around the clubhouse, and everything looked super nice. And the coordinators did NOT communicate. Luckily we were able to find a new venue last minute! I hope no other bride has to try and work with this dysfunctional facility, too bad it is beautiful building and is close to home. The untrained staff make this place a HUGE NO!! At least we got our deposit back.

It's ok but very fickle when reading shots and ball placement on the map. Large disparity on shots and register. Could probably use one more server or waitstaff; had to chase people down here and there when my cup runneth dry. Great pricing though and a pleasant afternoon can be spent here for sure.

No renovations on old course which used to be unique. 100 year old trees that made or broke your…read moreround were never replaced. You can count the # of trees on the old course with 1 hand. Par 5 #15 used to be almost impossible to hit the green in two has no deterant for being aggressive. #18 is literally a joke big tree on the corner of the dog leg right made even the big hitters think twice. I've seen tee shots end up by the cart path 90 yards from the green being hit by average golfers who carried it 225 yards and caught the downs lope with a 80 yard roll. To make the best use of that 20000 square ft putting green you have to challenge the golfers and try to make the tee shot a precision decision, not a full out blast aiming at the mens grill because nothing is along the right side to cause any problems anymore. Can we literally just bulldoze # 6 for God's sake, after 3 weeks of no rain, that might be the only hole in the country that is still under water. That is not exactly Golf Digest top 100 material. Ill save my review for new course for a later time.....peace
