The jewellery sets come as a whole set (including posh necklace, earrings, and bangles) or you can just purchase the one off items. They've had a nice refurb since my last visit, and the place looks a lot nicer. Always haggle a little in here, as you can usually get a discount. A great shop, and good customer service considering that they have a lot of competition on this busy shopping road. If you do plan on spending some time here, then best park round the corner by the S N D Supermarket, as the road and side roads are too busy.

The store sells high-quality, well-made gold jewellery, quality premium brands of watches, and luxury goods such as moorcroft pottery. Sadly, not being super-wealthy (or even slightly-wealthy) all of these items are beyond my reach. I have, however, visited a number of times for care-and-repair, and found the prices reasonable and the service excellent. Some places might treat you as a second-class citizen in such circumstances, but at Pala I received the smooth nothing's-too-much-trouble service that a big spender might deserve. The owner also gave me an entirely honest appraisal of one item I took there, even though this resulted in loss of custom for him. This is an excellent jeweller's that I would recommend to anyone who can afford to shop there!

As you would expect the jewellery sold is expensive but I have to admit this is a decent place to come to if you are looking for jewellery. There is something for everyone and there are items here for women, future brides, men as well as children. For women there are rings, earings, bangles as well as bracelets. For men: chains, rings, bracelets and pendants. And for children there are rings and bangles to choose from. You are in for variety if you come here and that I can guarantee. It doesn't surprise me that the items on offer are pretty pricey but don't let that put you off. There is so much to choose from and I know I would come here more often if I had the money. Staff will make you welcome and they will give you useful information on each item.

I also think the name isn't catch enough, especially for the variety of products sold inside. Throughout the store, you'll find many spiritualist gifts such as precious stones, necklaces, tarot cards amongst crystals, fairy models and other gothic items too. You'd never expect a jewellery shop with such a standard name and fascia to be selling these items; so if you do consider yourself a bit of a spiritualist, and if you're in the Northfield area, it is definitely worth checking out! There's also standard jewellery sold in here (which I'm not really that knowledgeable about), but i'm sure girls would benefit from mooching around at some unique items, that I've never really noticed in chain stores. The shop also does jewellery alterations as well.

The watch she uses is really small and dainty and it takes the smallest watch battery you can buy. The friendly shop assistant dutifully put the battery into the watch with pain staking accuracy. He had to use tweezers to make sure he could hold a firm grip on the sides of the battery. The replacement cost me five pounds, my girlfriend usually pays eight so I got a three pound saving. I was very pleased about this and will definitely be coming back here again.
