This is the third year in a row I have booked a party bus with Party Bus Detroit for a day wine tour trip. I keep coming back because we always get great service. The bus arrived on time, and was clean and ready to go. Our driver, Bob, was fantastic! He helped each of us in and out of the bus at each stop. There was an issue before the trip with the bus I originally booked. However, another (larger) bus was offered to me for the same price along with 2 complimentary bottles of champagne for the inconvenience. The only caution I would give is to be sure to book a larger bus than you think you need. There were 18 women in my group and we fit comfortably on the 28-30 passenger bus. We had a few coolers and food and the space ended up being just right. I will continue to use PartyBus Detroit for my special events and would recommend it to anyone else! read more

Do not use this company. Despite miscommunications about the alcohol allowance, we were left stranded in Pontiac (an hour away from our home) and had to find cabs to get home. My friend spent over $780 to be able to celebrate and enjoy her 21st birthday with friends and it was ruined because of STEPHANIE. This is not a safe or professional company. After learning the guidelines to what was allowed and what wasn't on the bus, when she found evidence of alcohol on the bus she made us get our stuff off the bus and left. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!! SHADY! SCAM! SO SHADY. Charged $1200 to our credit card for seat damages which did NOT happen. Also are claiming we didn't pay the $900 cash deposit, which was 100% collected and given to the driver PLUS tip. If we really didn't pay the cash at the time of pick up, why would the driver agree to take us all night? Serious SCAM. In the process of trying to get the charges removed---TOTAL HEADACHE AND NOT WORTH IT. USE ANOTHER COMPANY!!! ONLY gave it one star because yelp required at least one. Bus picked us up promptly, and delivered us home safely. What more could you ask for? Unlike other companies in the surrounding areas, the inside of the bus looks up to date and modern, I loved it. I will use them in the future for one of my DJ events, and have already recommend them to a friend. read more

We enjoyed working with Pam, our bus driver. Mary wasn't very friendly when working out logistics for the day of. We rented a 22 passenger party bus and we ended up with 20 people on the bus. Everyone was pretty squished and someone had to sit on the cooler. The bus was very small and I still do not see how 22 people could fit when we had 20 and couldnt fit comfortably. A representative should have explained that the 24 passenger bus would fit 20 people or more properly. Overall not a bad experience thanks to Pam. read more

TERRIBLE! NO ONE SHOULD EVER WASTE THEIR MONEY HERE FOR THEIR SPECIAL DAY! My bus broke down at 3am ON THE HIGHWAY and the incompetent owner hung up on me when I was asking for a refund. They do not care for their buses at all. They were 45 mins late. We are pretty sure the owner is like 16 years old with only a elementary education. I wish I was more mindful of the reviews so I would not have wasted such a special day. Please save your money and look elsewhere. There are plenty of other better companies out there that are worth your hard earned cash. read more

Worst company ever! DO NOT book your limo through this company. They were 35 minutes late because they claimed they were "pick up ice". Um...this should have been done BEFORE our pick up time!!! So we paid for 6 hours and basically only got to use 5 hours after we all got on the bus, paid, and argued with the ignorant driver. And to top that all off, the bus ended up breaking down on the highway at the end of the night. How awesome. We had to call family members to come pick all of us up ON THE HIGHWAY, or we'd have to wait god-knows how long for the company to send out another bus to get us. I would not recommend hiring Party Bus Detroit because they did not transport us (a party of 10) from Mackinac City to Detroit in a timely fashion due to a breakdown of equipment. A breakdown might happen to any company, and even though they did eventually obtain replacement transportation (after about four hours), it was the manner in which Mr. Wikinson, Operations Manager, handled the matter after we returned home that causes me to offer this negative report. On 5/23/13 we contracted with Party Bus Detroit for transportation from the Detroit airport on 6/30/13 to Mackinac City with a return from Mackinac City to Detroit on 7/05/13. The outbound trip (confirmation #15693) was paid with charges of $200/$735/$115.61. The first charge was the deposit, the second charge was the balance and the third charge for extra time was because my plane arrived a hour behind schedule. This did not take into account that the driver was not aware there was a limo pickup at the Detroit airport and took an additional thirty minutes to find a location where we could be picked up. My dispute with Party Bus Detroit is for the return trip. We were picked up on 7/5/13 at Shepler's Ferry at 1:30 pm as scheduled. (We were a party of 10 people plus luggage.) At about 2:15 pm, the party bus broke down on Highway 75 en route to the Detroit airport. We were stranded on the road until about 3:00 pm when Party Bus Detroit hired a taxi to transport us to Cheboygan, MI where we stayed until shortly after 6:00 pm. A second bus from Party Bus Detroit picked us up and took us to Embassy Suites at the Detroit airport arriving there at our destination about 12:30 am the next day, July 6. When I contacted the vendor, PartyBusDetroit, I spoke with Marc Wikinson, Operations Manager and he told me that since I had accepted services back to Detroit, I was obligated to pay for the return trip. He said they would not charge me for the taxi company, for the extra hours we were on the road because of the break down, nor would they charge us for the cost of the second bus and driver. Mind you, the second bus, driver, taxi, and meal were required only because their bus broke down on the road. While we were standing on the side of the road, I made every attempt to obtain alternate transportation. First, I attempted to contact car rental companies, as well as taxi companies. I was not able to do this so I contacted American Express Global Assist. Global Assist attempted to secure for me rental cars, transport buses, as well as taxi companies. Since it was the 4th of July weekend no alternative transportation was possible. This transportation was in conjunction with our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration and we were denied the final celebration dinner we had planned for the evening of 7/5/13, not to mention the fact that we had to depart the hotel less than 5 hours after our arrival. Had absolutely no problem and our driver, Tim was extremely nice considering all the circumstances that can occur on a 21st birthday and he was even early for pick up! I had to put a $200 deposit when I booked and had the option to pay the rest on my card at a later date or in cash the day of. Recommend! read more

Stereo system/aux cord wasn't working. Had to bring my own speakers so we could listen to music during our experience. Reached out to company to ask for partial refund after and they basically told me I was lying and refused to give me any sort of refund on this transaction. very upset, reserved and paid for a 30 person party bus for my wedding. 5 days before my wedding they say it is not available..and use a "sister company" which the bus looks awful...doesnt ccompare to the bus i paid for. its unbelieable they do not care i paid a price for specific bus and instead i get a crappy one. read more
