Lisa Saechao gets down to every last detail in your hair color, until she gets it perfect. I'm an extremely indecisive individual, I give major props to Lisa for her putting up with me. Basically, I was at the salon from 1:30 -6:40 on Memorial Day and she ended up being the last one to leave the shop. I took the pricier/riskier option by darkening my base color with balayage around 165 depending on your hair type and length. She explained every step as she was painting my hair, felt like I just took Hair Coloring 101 haha. 1st try - I came out blonde for the balyage and dark for my roots. I left and came back because I'm indecisive and want lighter ends. 2nd try - my blonde balyage was lighter, but Lisa suggested to tone it down to the ash blonde color I initially wanted. 3rd try- my ends were ash blonde, but she said it'll look better if I have some low lights in my hair 4th try- it was everything I would have wished for. I didn't know I could've really gotten platnium/ ash blonde ends like that. Lisa will not be satisfied until you're satisfied. I'm excited about my next color treatment with her. Went to Details Salon for the first time a couple of months ago and had an appointment with Ashley Vandermast! She is a hair goddess! You can tell she really loves what she does and is beyond great at it! I had her touch up my red and it's been 10 weeks and is still super red and has not faded! She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is doing! I would recommend Ashley to anyone wanting to have the best cut and color of their life! Go book an appointment with her! You will not regret it!
Came in to get my usual hair cut with Angela but when I leave the salon I feel like I did a cut and color. My hair looks and feels great!!!! She does such a great job with my color that I constantly get compliments even when I haven't done it in months Angela has been doing my hair for years from different cuts to colors. Vanessa C. did an amazing job on my up do! (I forgot to take pictures right away, so they are of about 6 hours in) She did exactly what the picture of my vision, ensured it was securely pinned, and was friendly the whole appointment! I highly recommend her for any up dos, for any occasion.
I've been going to see Ashleigh Stacey now for years and cannot talk her up ENOUGH! She does an AMAZING job with color... Always knows exactly how to get my hair to the color I want... She is BEYOND meticulous with her cuts... And after she's done, my hair is healthy, vibrant, and my curls fall perfectly into place. The receptionists Stephanie and Brittany are always helpful and accommodating to my schedule. The owner Briana has the CUTEST style! The salon screams with chicness and gives that warm, welcoming feel. The sparkly floors, comfortable shampoo bowls, the oversized mirrors... Everything about the salons little bits of flare make me want to come back. I absolutely love Details Salon and will continue to be a loyal client. Thanks girls for all the help over the years!!!! You're simply the best!!!
Of course I'm going to give this place a 5 Star Rating. Not only that, I give my hairstylist a 5 Star Rating! If I could give her more, I would! This is my second time coming to this particular salon for Lisa Pham_Saechao. I went to her at her previous job for years, but I am truly happy she came to this place instead. I just went to Lisa yesterday to get my hair cut and a balayage done. Let me just say that SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING! She has never failed to amaze me with her "artwork" on my hair. If you're nervous to get a haircut or to color your hair, let me say that you'll walk out even MORE confident than when you even walked in. On top of all that, they give you a free glass of WINE! Yes, you read that right...a free glass of WINE! They have red or white wine and for all those who don't like wine, they have beer for you too! For all the non-alcoholics, they have water for you. Lol. You seriously can't beat that! I highly recommend you to come to this salon and request for Lisa in particular. She's so good that she's literally booked months in advance. So if you know what you want, book with her now!
I have been in search of a great hair stylist for a while now. This has been hard for me because I am so picky from many years working in the beauty industry. Details moved around the corner from Krazy Mary's this past year and one of my co-workers started getting her hair done by Korynn. Since her hair was looking great I decided to give Korynn a try. When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by Korynn. One criteria for me is my stylist has to have style. She had tons! Her hair looked great and you could tell she takes pride in her craft. My only concern was how young she was, but within 5 min that concern had faded away. Korynn and I hit it off quickly and I enjoyed hearing about her experience training to be an educator for the salon's color line. Color and cut education is so important for a stylist and I loved that she was so involved with it. I showed Korynn a picture of the color I wanted and asked her to clean up the cut. She loved the color I chose and was excited to use a new red (End result will be a chocolate red) that was added to their color line. I can't express enough how impressed I was with Korynn and her professionalism in knowing what was best for the color process and cut. On top of that she was easy to talk to. When we were done the final outcome was fabulous. The color was amazing and exactly what I wanted, and the cut was perfect. My 5 star rating isn't so much for Details but for Korynn and her services. I have finally found my new stylist to be loyal to and it feels great!
This review is really for Ashleigh Stacey, but I will also give Details props in general for always offering me a beverage and stocking good magazines. Then let me really start by mentioning that I live in Los Angeles. And if my making it a point to book appointments with Ashleigh on my visits to see my parents rather than staying local isn't indication enough of how awesome she is, keep reading. Found Details through Yelp back when they were in the old location and ended up with Ashleigh by chance. I couldn't have been more lucky. She has never failed to accomplish what I was looking for in a cut and then some. One glance at a photo, a quick consultation, and BOOM...magic. This is why I did not hesitate to let her be the one to chop off my long hair for the first time in almost 10 years this past weekend. And even though I hadn't had her color my hair before, I knew she would kill it so we went for that too with epic results. Not only is she meticulous and well trained in her craft, but she gives you input and keeps you informed on what she's doing the whole time (unlike some other stylists I have gone to who essentially do what they want without telling you and you leave $300 later wanting to cry). Ashleigh, you are the best. Thank you for your fantastic rates, for being easy to work with, talk to, and for making me (and my mom!) always want to come back to you. And thank you Details for the cute space, easy parking, and lovely staff.
I bought a Groupon and at first I felt resentful that I couldn't get an appointment. But, they had Groupons out getting cashed in and I understand. I'm one of them. Every time I had called for a couple weeks they were booked. I waited some time. Finally made an appointment. Details Salon is located in an old Victorian building and that's cool. Those old buildings/old homes are so charming. I met Stephanie and she seemed like such a good hearted lady. It was nice to sit with her. She even gave me her card before I tipped her.. and I always think that's nice. Nice place. Good service. Street parking.
Melissa never lets me down! I asked her to do my hair for my wedding last fall and like always, she did an amazing job! She came early that morning and gave me a much needed haircut along with a blowout. I wanted my hair down and curled, very natural, and the finished product was gorgeous! Full of body and lasted all day! Melissa is still the only person I allow to touch my hair, even though I live in another state. So every time I'm in the Sacramento area I make sure to call ahead and book my appointment with her. *Louise did my bridesmaids hair and they all looked so gorgeous. I wanted all of them to look unique and let their personalities shine so they all chose different hairstyles. Four different styles was no problem for this pro! Louise arrived extra early the morning of to ensure there was plenty of time to work on the girls and finished in record time. And she brought us donuts, which is pretty awesome! I'm so grateful to these two girls for helping me make my wedding day extra special! Thanks again ladies:) You are the absolute best of the best!!!!

Korynn is the best, seriously, I cried when she finished my hair ( and I never cry) I called a few days in advance and was looking for a bad die job gone disaster and needed an asap correction and help. I was lucky enough to get an appt on Dec the 31st, the last appt of the day. She was a great listener, compassionate and a consultant. She is also a Goldwell Educator and teaches other stylist how to be a Goldwell expert. I am now going every month for touch ups and will be a regular client. BTW, she works on Sundays, which is fantastic for ladies like me who have a busy M-F schedule. The salon too is adorable and has a great vibe and design.
Awesome service, I was able to book an appointment the same day. Very nice place and I was lucky enough to get someone who understood my needs and concerns, I will totally come back!

I have been thrilled with my Haircut and Color results at Details Salon. In addition, my safe distance experience at Details Salon has been phenomenal. Briana, Owner, does an excellent job communicating it prior to appointments. Wouldn't you agree that my color is on point?! I really loved the work that Briana did for me! She is able to work with you and your lifestyle to give you the best hair for you! I had been growing my hair for 5 years and after a frustrating evening I had enough and chopped it off in my dorm room. I saw many positive reviews for Briana so I decided to come to her to fix my mess! She was so sweet and so accommodating! Her room is small but cozy with music and cool artwork. Glynnis Lyons is an excellent esthetician who knows elegant fashion and beauty. Her eyelash extensions are always perfect and she is FAST. I can't stand lying down long for more than an hour, I'm extremely busy, so I appreciate how Glynnis allows me to take a nap and get my lashes done at the same time! Her micropeels using diamond microdermabrasion with vitamin c enzymes and pumpkin enzymes leave me red carpet ready, especially when I need a boost. I love the work and can't say enough about how talented Glynnis is. She's also very nice and caring in addition to being very beautiful. read more

My daughter and I walk by this place every Sat for Mr Pickles next door and she has always wanted to try this place. After visiting and calling several salons, she stopped by and asked if the undercut can be done and of course they informed her Christine can do it. She decided to give this salon a try based on the Yelp reviews. My daughter is very happy with Christine's work and has become a fan of hers. The staff are very welcoming and there's no chemicals smell to endure...AWESOME PLACE!! Might consider Christine to cut my hair! read more

Review for Ashley Rembulat Can I say amazing?! Ashley' a perfectionist that loves what she does. I'm loving my new cut and balayage blonde hair right now! Before starting Ashley made sure I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair instead of just diving right in. She asked me about the placement of the highlights, how high up, how much blonde and how I wanted my bangs. Some things I didn't even think about before coming in. I usually show the stylist a picture and they almost always just glance at it and say okay, but Ashley made sure she knew what I wanted. Now, I have colored dark brown Asian hair and I hate how it pulls orange, but she was able to lighten my hair in just one session to a nice ashy blonde without it melting or breaking. I was so scared it was going to because I wanted my hair pretty light blonde. Thank god it didn't! I already booked my next appointment! Can't wait to lighten it even more :) read more

I knew exactly how I wanted my hair to look on my wedding day and Briana totally nailed it! I went in for a trial prior and she was patient and fun to work with. She put my hair up several times as I tried to communicate exactly what I wanted. She also did a beautiful job on 3 of our moms and 3 of my bridesmaids. When I didn't do a good job of clarifying how much the total cost would be she graciously gave me a discount and was honest about her prices being the going rate. I highly recommend Briana! read more

My experience at Details Salon was absolutepy fantastic! The owner Briana was able to not only schedule me with an amazing stylist, but also got me in THE NEXT DAY! My stylist was Louise and she was absolutely phenomenal. From my cut, layer corrections, discussion on color & actual dye, I was extremely satisfied with everything. Not only is Louise amazing at her job, but she has a genuinely caring personality which shines through. I highly recommend both Louise & Details Salon. Keep it up! read more
