They use all the latest equipment. Their hours, including appointments after 5, are very convenient for working folks. They take extra care to reduce any pain. They also seem very trustworthy in providing you with the care you need rather than suggesting extra unnecessary treatments that add up, as I suspect other dentists do. I was not trusting dentists in general before, but I do trust Dearborn Family Dentistry thoroughly based on my experience with them. I can't recommend them enough and I can actually say I'm 100% satisfied with my decision to come here.

They take the time to listen to your concerns and make sure to address each one. Even though I went in as an emergency appointment Dr. Rena took her TIIMEE with me and did not rush my appointment whatsoever. The office itself is up to date, clean, and modern. They will do everything to make sure you are comfortable. In the waiting room there's snacks and drinks for you while u wait. In the dental chair you're offered a warm blanket to get you more comfortable. I was in so much pain and needed my tooth drilled, when I tell you I did NOT feel any pain and in a way & it was kind of relaxing... BELIEVE ME. As someone who hates getting dental work done this was the BESSST EXPERIENCE. If you are on the verge about choosing an office you'd be crazy not to go with this office.

I actually don't mind coming to the dentist because everyone is just so nice and you feel very welcome. I feel like a freak because I love going to the dentist…read more Before I began visiting Dr. Cohen, I had already sat through a ton of dental work including a few extractions, countless fillings and a couple temporary crowns with several dentists. I *really* didn't like dentists before I met Dr. Cohen because my teeth had been treated carelessly by the dentists before him. But ask me now about going to the dentist and I'll say I love it. I mean, like everyone, I still hate getting my teeth cleaned and the terrifying sound of a drill against my tooth, but overall Dr. Cohen and his team make sitting in the dentist chair the best possible experience. I'm mainly updating my review to say this is still an awesome dental office. I now live in Dearborn but drive out of my way to have my dental needs taken care of in Wyandotte. I recently had to have 2 more crowns done (sucks, I know!) and they were both great experiences. Dr. Cohen and his amazing dental assistants always make sure to explain what he's doing, make sure I can't feel anything and that I'm as comfortable as possible. They even take care to put a moisturizer on your lips to make sure your lips and corner of your mouth don't get cracked during a procedure and give you sunglasses to keep the bright light (and water!) out of your eyes. His office still offers the amazing paraffin wax treatment, along with a nice, heavy shoulder massage wrap. They also have an iPad to play with while waiting for the doctor to come in, how cool is that? In addition, I noticed they made a few upgrades to the way they examine your teeth in regard to total body health. Again, if you're looking for an awesome, tech-savvy, considerate dentist with assistants and staff that truly care about you, please consider Dr. Cohen in Wyandotte. I hated dentists before I started going there but now, I can say: "Yep, I love going to the dentist."

The hygienist took great care of me, explained what he was doing as he was doing it, asked about any discomfort now, or since the last time. 20 minutes later, I had my little dental goodie bag and I was in my way home. They always take care to set up your next appointment while you're there, which is great for me because I always forget to schedule it myself. Everyone's super friendly, professional, and good natured. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone, especially those who struggle to make themselves go to the dentist.

They…read moreare completely disorganized, have a hard time keeping records of what you have and haven't paid. Basically I had crown work done that they said would cost one thing. And I am not being told AFTER the procedure, that I owe 2,000 more than what they originally told me. I overpaid 700 and now they want another 1300. I would never have gotten this procedure if I had known. You do not advise someone to make a medical decision and then turn around and extort them for money. I honestly feel like I got conned.

Asked for what I would owe for each of my kids appt, so i could pay it. Than when My oldest last few appts were coming up and my part was big. I called to re-schedule the appt because of the cost. The office manager said I wont be that much your insurance just renewed. I said ok asked what my part would be for each appt. So i did all 4 her appts. Than they start saying stuff about owing money. They also started putting money I paid on my kids or my account but not for the right person. Which i told them every time, I had all my receipts. Than they started not giving them unless I asked. Mine amount they said I owe was like $1500-$2000 so they said. And Dr. Laura was gonna give me $800.00 off because she felt bad. I Did pay a little that day but, told them I was not paying nothing more till i get proof!!!! Dr. Harness was weird after that didn't see her much after that.They did ask a few times when I was gonna pay it. And i told them i was not going to. They messed up all my stuff and i went way into mine, and both my kids account. I paid in cash over $6000.00 plus tapped out my insurance. I even called my insurance plan because they were charging for stuff we didn't get, or charging the wrong kid or me. Shorty after that Dr. Harness was no longer there nor the staff. When speaking with the new staff she informed me that many people were saying the same thing. I even asked them to look into my account and they have and can't figure it out. Stay away from her something with the billing and money is not right.
