100% of sales from this vintage store goes back into the local community. This thrift shop is a large part of the "outreach" the minister & his wife (& their small congregation) offer the county's homeless community. When you buy from this store, you are helping to feed & clothe the poorest of the area thru this Church of Ocala ministry.
With the exception of furniture, everything in the store today was discounted 50% at checkout-- can't beat that! I located this store through its Facebook advertisement for a beautiful waterfall antique dresser. The price was incredibly low (& unfortunately for me it sold before I arrived today).
The shoppe's business card reads, "Shoes $3 / Clothes $2 / Ties $1 / Baby Clothes $.50 -- Vintage Items, Antiques, Unique Finds, Furniture, Electronics, Phone Chargers, Jewelry, Books & so much more!"
Donations can be picked up from your home, & a tax receipt will be issued. You can check out this shoppe's Facebook page.
There are quality vintage items & antiques to be found here. The merchandise moves quickly due to the low prices. Salesperson Vicky was very friendly & happily answered all of my questions. I left w/ a generous invite to her church & a "God Bess," but there was no pressure to join. Just a lovely lady!
This is a store that is worthy of patronage, not only for its sponsorship of the homeless, but for its quality merchandise & low prices. Visa, MasterCard, Discover & cash accepted. (Unsure about American Express.) read more
