Extremely disappointed with this ferry operator is an absolute understatement. Tickets booked month ago for a 11:45 am departure. Arrived at 11 am. 12:20 pm they suddenly canceled the ferry with no explanation and leave us in a bind. Tell us need to rebook for 8 pm ferry and we made lots of international phone calls to rebook because they couldn't help us wasting an entire day of vacation when already have very limited time at Visby. Stranded in a small town with limited options. I'm hoping they will offer at least a partial refund as tickets were $400 and this service is completely a disservice from travelers coming from far away and do it so very last minute is just not right without any kind of a replacement. read more

I took the ferry from Nynäshamn färjeterminal to Visby. The ride was very smooth and dinning experience is great, their breakfast and lunch menu have more options than I imagined. The bathroom is clean. There is also an outside patio on the deck. Great experience. read more

I was blown away by the super roomy seats, vegan food, wine, all of it. This mode of transport is far superior to flying, esp. dealing with Arlanda, despite the ferry being a longer journey. read more

Do not go with bike! While boarding, passengers on bicycle are made to wait a half hour on the blacktop as cars speed past. Bikes are then "parked" in a pile in a corner of the car deck. When deboarding we were forgotten about behind some freight containers and had to climb out! For this service you must pay extra! On board, there is nothing to do on the 4-hour journey. No entertainment, no karaoke, not even video poker. I've been on many shorter ferry rides with much better on board experiences. All you can do is sit in the restaurant, which has a mediocre beer selection. I often travel by ferry but will avoid this company in the future. read more
