We declined stating the work hasn't started. 1st clue of financial problems. The paint job was completed and the balance was paid. The painters did a great job. I wish I had their contact information. The door however, was not installed by him or stained. Always an excuse, no word back, taking a class, etc. We have since hired another contractor and notified Richard that we would no longer need his service and expected our deposit as he did not deliver as indicated in contract. Crickets, webiste gone, hasn't returned calls, etc. We advised we would be contacting our attorney. Looks like he is out of business. My original review was good....until all things came to a halt. His workers found that our roof had some loose and cracked tiles, and they repaired them for free. No charge for the estimate or the work. We were shocked and relieved since another vendor quoted us over $600 for fixing the tiles, and then another $4400 for additional work he said we needed. A total of over $5,000. David said we didn't need the extra work the other vendor suggested and had his men check to make sure. We highly recommend DC roofing for his integrity and customer service. All our friends and neighbors who recommended him had told us he was a fair and honest guy. We learned from our experience that he lives up to this reputation. When we have problems with our roof in the future, he will definitely be our first call.
