About 20 minutes in the outside is dark and green and the wind blew the fire alarm on. This might sound bad but when I say that this is the best haircut I ever got even under these conditions, I mean it. Even with the fire alarm blasting and the wind and hail pounding the place, my barber got it done in perfect time and style. He also was a very nice guy everyone there was super nice. He was trained for several years in Italy before being allowed to call himself a "barber" and he's forgotten more about cutting men's hair than most U.S. - trained barbers, beauticians, stylists, etc. will ever know. He's very professional, friendly and extremely reasonably priced considering the quality and attention to detail he provides. I live and work in the downtown and near-north Chicago areas and travel all the way to Oak Lawn, where I grew up, to see Mike every five weeks. I constantly receive complements and inquires as to who cuts my hair from people paying three and four times more for downtown, near-north and Gold Coast "stylists."
