I had to refrain myself from buying a few because I did not have the extra space for them unfortunately in my luggage. Customer service is very friendly and professional. It's definitely worth a visit, if you would like to purchase something good to read in English or step up your book collection.

It's been 10 years since Curious Fox opened its doors, and though they had to find a new place in…read morethe middle of a pandemic, they're still around and keeping busy selling books, this time in Kreuzberg. The new shop is a cozy little subterranean space along Lausitzer Platz (which is now car-free!) and the selection of used and new books is great. They also have special sections of Irish books, so if you want to discover some new Irish authors, that's Curious Fox's niche.

This includes being able to hit up the bookstore in my neighborhood instead of trekking halfway across the city to get what I want. But perhaps the best thing about Ebert und Weber is its selection. While it only consists of two small rooms and not massive floors, the books available and on display are top-notch. There are currents and classics, and the presentation is such that I feel like I want to buy every book there. In addition to having German books, there is also a sufficient English section, and there are even Moleskine planners (no new year is complete without one!). All in all, I love this place for its proximity, its selection, and its personal feel.

This bookstore is cute. They have fun books, English books as well, pretty envelopes and postcards…read morethat are perfect to send home from Berlin but aren't too touristy. And you can find washi tape and most probably a present for everyone here. But it's all a bit more pricy than normal... What I like most about this shop though, is the small merchandise they have; totebags and (free) postcards that say "Home is where your bookstore is" and stickers saying "This is not bought on Etsy". Cute.
