No, this is not 99 Ranch or H Mart. It's not as even well lit or well put as a 7-11. But for a second, I was home. Please take a good look at the expiration date of the goods before you buy. And do a visual check for molds or discoloring. There's not much Burmese people around. So I don't think the goods get turned over that much. Just so you know, the country is Myanmar (formerly Burma), but its adjective is still Burmese. The selection is pretty good, and handy if you plan on cooking Thai or Burmese dishes. It looks like a small market from the outside, and even when you step in - but they have a lot of stuff in the freezers in the back - but they're old-school freezers that you have to open the hatch up to see what's inside. Well, luckily I did and I could see they have a plethora of frozen fishes, and even frogs. They seem to have everything basic, and also game meats, to make any kind of dish a Burmese could request for - but I wouldn't know for sure. But really, this place could use some dressing up. And it would look a lot less tacky if they would stop doubling their store as some kind of phone business. Regardless, I looked up on yelp for Burmese and Myanmar things - and the closest thing is in Lewisville. So this is something unique for Dallas, whether I like it or not.

If you order ahead they give you free edamame, which is a nice bonus. You can call to order ahead for to go or in restaurant dining. I love dining in but also love picking up lunch from here as well. Everything is simple. They are a supplier and also have a grocery store. You can get a wide variety of items from sushi grade fish, sushi supplies, snack and more. The staff is always so friendly. They have a very tiny parking lot. That is the only downside. But it is worth visiting this gem!

They have a wall of freezers with a variety of reasonably priced frozen goods. They also have a small market area with a spices, sauces, and snacks. On their menu, they have a lot of roll options to choose from but only offer 3 types of sashimi - tuna, salmon, and hamachi. I love their salmon sashimi (so soft and buttery!) and their udon. Their small size is a decent size portion! Overall, I would recommend stopping by for some cheap rolls and affordable udon!
