Siegel Suites Recently Sold This Property in 2021 And Is Now Called "Mesa Blvd Apartments"…read more This Apartment complex still leaves much to be desired. The WIFI is super slow it can take several minutes for a page to load and will disconnect on you several times a day, so good luck if you are using it for something important like bill paying or doing your taxes etc.... The mattress was old, sagging, and caved in making it very hard on our backs.The walls are terribly dirty and sticky, it is bug, roach, and fruit fly infested, you hardly ever get hot water when you need it nor is there any water softening system. Everything inside the unit was old and run down showing lots of wear, breakage and with dirty fingerprints on the cabinet doors. The carpets are filthy. The front door is dirty and flimsy with lots of light coming in from around the door frame which makes it easy for even more insects to enter. We really could not believe that people live here or how it passed inspection with the City of Mesquite to get sold in the first place?? Did I mention the Dog and Cat Crap Everywhere? Be prepared to step in it and track it into your Apartment from time to time. We ended up checking out much earlier than we wanted to and moved across town. Never again will we stay here unless they fix it up and debug it.... I hope the new owners have plans of gutting this place and starting over. It needs a full rehab.... Not Recommended

It's okay.... The good: Cheap rent even in this economy…read morecompared to others in Mesquite. Has washer/dryer hook ups(something that's rare for the apartments in the area) TDS service(out performs Reliance any day of the week) Updated carpet and appliances for new people moving in. 1 covered ASSIGNED parking spot The bad: Roaches. Spray at least once a week and it will keep them at bay. If you don't do so, you'll have them everywhere. Lot of ghetto and trashy people around. Then again, this isn't anything glamorous, but watch your back, lock your cars, and your doors. Loud music in the middle of the night from said ghetto hood rat trash. People don't keep their dogs on a leash, even if they are violent toward you, or your animals. Management turns a blind eye about problems such as these. If you have a dog, be vigilant, scope the area, get into that habit. Can't tell you how many times I got home from work only to have a dog attempt to bite me a hundred times(I'm looking at you building 1 and 2) Paying rent is shady. Take pictures and copies of everything you give to these people. Dumpsters overfilled within a day after trash comes and yet management expects us to be good people and walk it to another dumpster, no, just leave it in the front of the dumpster gate like everyone else, management won't do anything to you. If you're gone for a week, you might have unwanted people in your parking spot, don't bug management, just call the tow number that's listed on the wall(looking at you Jose and your white car) Smells leak through the vents. So if your neighbor is smoking weed, you'll smell it. You don't get your deposit back, regardless of how good you leave your unit. All in all, it's okay. This place served its purpose, and I'm happy to finally leave it. However, compared to other apartments that you may see, such as Smoky Lane "townhomes", and The Bluffs, this place beats them. Just watch your back and your stuff, and you'll be fine. Luckily, in our time here, we never had to call for a maintenance repair so that is a plus. Here is a tip, try to get a unit that faces the east side, if you don't, you'll be hating the heat more in the afternoon.

(Others should try that) I can't speak for every building and everyone else, but for the 2-3 years I lived in building #2, I never had a roach problem. They did have a bug contractor spraying every unit frequently, which helps a lot but speaking from common sense, you yourself have to keep your place clean to keep them out. (Should try that out too) Overall, great place to live, I had great neighbors for the majority of the time I was there, never had an issue with the management, very reasonable price for what I rented and always very peaceful! I would definitely go back. Thank you personally to Management for making my experience here a wonderful one.

We paid the deposit and pet fee, paid on time every month, were model tenants. At the end of the lease they charged us $150 for "Ventilation Cleaning". There is nothing in the lease that states we are responsible for the vents being cleaned. The Nevada Implied Warranty of Habitability states that the property owners are REQUIRED to "keep electrical, plumbing, sanitary, heating, **ventilating**, and air-conditioning systems and elevators operating safely". It IS NOT and WAS NOT our responsibility to pay for the ventilation cleaning. They cannot be trusted to be honest or have any sort of integrity. Again, DO NOT RENT FROM MESQUITE BLUFFS UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE.

I like to begin my story regarding renting at Desert Shades Apartment I'm here to share my story of…read morethe Manager Denise and unethical practice that is conducted on the facilities. My very first experience of the illegal practicing starts in May of 2019 when I found out Apt G23 end unit supplies the electric for the sprinkling system on the grounds for the G Section. I shut off the power by the breaker inside of the apartment because I was told by Overton Power company I could if no one was living there. It would stop it from calculating any more usage. Doing so a week later I was told by management to turn it back on, the lawns needed to be water and my mother would be held responsible for the grounds if they dried up from the heat. Make a long story short my Mother paid for four years to operate the sprinkling system that watered these grounds. No where in the contract was this implied nor did Denise mention to my Mother or myself she would be paying my mother was never reimbursed the $746.00. She was uncooperative and gave me false informations but than realized she was caught and place power in companies name. Here is another unethical practice living in an apartment and having dual residency my 86 year old mother living with me in the apartment in Desert Shades Nevada . It was imperative I returned to NY for medical reasons due to unavoidable health issues which enable me to return to Nevada like I had hoped. I got behind in my rent my mother was served with an eviction notice on November 7, 2019 my mother was not on this agreement. I filed with the courts the necessary paperwork to stop proceedings. Unfortunately there were people who got involved in mine and my mother's business taking advantage of a very vulnerable situation, not really knowing all the facts. No one would take my phone calls. I never received any notification, No certified mail was sent to me in New York. Management had a copy of my license, and at any given time could call or email me, they had my phone number. Moving forward I was given a date to make payment to the management (Deneise), Manager. The amount of money she was requesting was illegal I was informed by the courts she was only allowed to charge past due amount and $50 late fee she was charging more money than she was allowed by law. She wouldn't accept the amount that was legally required from me she wanted what she wanted she denied my payment in the legal required time. She took payment from someone else for the incorrect amount. She would not take or return my calls. She then started another eviction notice against me that I was not aware of again for the second time. I did not receive a certified letter here in New York no phone call , no email of this proceeding, she served it to my mother an 86 year old woman who was dramatized, scared confused and told her to be out by December 15th, 2019. My mother was not on the lease agreement but lived there with me. My lease agreement expired 02/01/20. This woman is evil, a liar, unethical and should not be working for this company. If she holds any real estate licenses she should be suspended/revoked from them. I'm sure there are many others who have encounter horrible experiences dealing with this woman, in regards to all that transpired I was not legally notified and lost all my personal belonging some of which can't be replaced such as my Beloved son portrait may he rest in peace, photos of my children, family heirlooms. Please know what you are getting into with this Office Manager.

Management is good, maintenance could use some help. Pet friendly and have a nice clean pool.read more
