They are there to enhance your experience and make musicians of any level feel comfortable, hell, Mark may even sit in with you if you ask nicely! Since I don't currently have a drum kit at home, the convenience of the use of four different kits is a real treat. Another great thing about 3M is the culture they have created. I have met so many passionate, like-minded musicians who love to jam, so I am happy to make 3M part of my regular week. If you are a local musician and haven't visited 3M Studios, you're missing out!

I DON'T recommend this place if you are interested in learning how to play piano. My son is 13 and…read moreeager to learn how to play the piano. We didn't even make it through half of our first lesson and he was walking us to the door because he said my son didn't respect him because he wasn't talking enough. He didn't want to teach him because he wasn't into learning. Which my son is a quite and very respectful kid. He didn't even give him the chance to open up and get comfortable. I couldn't believe how disrespectful he was to me and my son in front of a young kid who was excited about learning something new. The last thing he said to me was that my kid has communication problems. He had his expert opinion on my kid within 20 minutes of meeting him. I didn't realize we were going to see a psychologist and not a piano instructor.

This is the sort of place that you want to take your equipment for repair. Mark is competent,…read moreefficient, and communicative. Does a good job of explaining what needs to be fixed, and has logical opinions. Despite the name, he actually fixed a vintage analog keyboard, a Korg MS-20 patchbay synthesizer that was woefully out of tune. While he does not work on all vintage keyboards, it's worth asking him about this or other equipment, especially since there's not a lot of people in the area who work on vintage analog synthesizer or other things. But of course, as the name implies, you come here for guitars and guitar amplifiers. Excellent.
