I was pleasantly surprised at the price, was expecting more for a 3800 sq ft two story house. He is a straight shooter and told me they're not the cheapest and they're not the most expensive, somewhere in between, his price reflected that. Charlie explained to me what they do, pressure wash, scrape, patch, prime and spray. His price included the paint too, I've had painters at my other homes require me to purchase the paint. He used the paint that is also recommended for AZ summers. I booked him, told him I would call him as soon as my new garage doors were installed so they wouldn't have to return to paint those at a later date. Garage doors were delayed a few weeks so I called him and met with his sons, Jim and John, they went over the contract with me and what to expect. Both of the boys were very pleasant to work with. They didn't even take a down payment, we scheduled the work to begin the first Monday after I signed the contract. John said their painters would be there at 8 am. I was expecting a crew of 4 or 5 like my last 1700 sq ft house I had painted.. they had 2 guys show up at 7:45 ....sharp!! They immediately went to work, no BSing! The 2 showed up every day at 7:45, worked hard every day until 5 pm. They did a phenomenal clean up every day before quitting time. They finished Thursday afternoon about 12. They did an awesome job, clean up was phenomenal each day and respected plants and foliage in the yard!! John came by to check on the job at the end to make sure my wife and I were happy!! I told him we were very pleased!!! He said call when your garage doors are installed and we'll schedule them to return and finish the job!! Two week later doors were installed, called John and he sent his 2 painters out on Saturday morning, again, 7:45 they arrived,went right to work and finished about 10 am!! This whole experience was awesome from the start, not one snag or set back or argument that I usually encounter when I hire people. They showed, they worked, they finished and were very reasonable!!! It is a family owned and run business and pride of ownership is clearly evident. They spent five days painting our 1700sf home and they were painstaking in every detail. They repaired cracking seams in the drywall of our ceiling, filled in dents/small holes in walls, removed blistered paint in the bathroom, caulked gaps in baseboards, and performed every other task necessary to ensure a flawless result. They moved furniture, removed/replaced all blinds and drapes, leaving us to only have to remove hanging items from the walls. They didn't just paint around fixtures, but removed them (wall socket covers, door knobs, etc) to facilitate full coverage. They used top quality paint that perfectly matched our chosen color scheme. Attention to protecting our furniture, floors, cabinets, and other home decor items was impressive. At the end of each day, they straightened everything up, cleaned up and left our home livable. When they were finally done, everything was immaculate; we only had to replace our hanging items to their original locations. I cannot imagine getting more value for our money.
