Stay away - shocking customer service. My mother had a reservation in Desa on Saturday night for a party of 4. All guests were elderly people, and it was an important celebration night for them. Upon arrival they were seated at their table and were served menu cards. After about 15 minutes the waitress came back, and asked them (with no apology) to move to a smaller and higher barstool table. As it would be a great inconvenience for them to try to sit at the high chairs (all guests were around 65+) they politely asked if there is any other seating option. The waitress talked to her manager and quickly came back with no resolution to this uncomfortable situation - just an explanation that "other people had a reservation as well, and they really cared for this particular table." It was all happening in front of other restaurant guests and the situation was getting awkward. My mother with her guests decided to leave and try to save the evening. They left feeling mistreated and with a bitter taste after this experience. read more
