We were looking for a restaurant to go to near Galata Bridge on a recent vacation to Istanbul. Our hotel front Desk guy said not to eat in the restaurants under the bridge because they're touristy.
Instead they said to turn left after walking along Galata Bridge and you'll find a small market.
This is where we found this small restaurant. After you order, they seem to go "shopping " at the nearby stalls. They they cook it there.
It must have been the best meal we've ever had in Istanbul...so fresh, so delicious and so cool!
Service is fast and friendly.
It's not fine dining, but the experience is surely first class and nothing beats eating like the locals.
Best recommendation ever! read more
