When Patricia took the implant piece out she discovered one of my implants was loose , I admitted I failed to wear my night guard and then cried I was scared of more surgery. Dr. Perez was very kind and looked at my x ray said I need it replaced and not once did he lecture or Shame me for not wearing my night guard. I mean I felt bad enough and it's too bad Patricia wasn't as nice, she lectured me not once but three times and spoke to me as if I was a child she stated" u didn't wear your night guard, u are going to have to set reminders on your phone. And u need to also wear it during the day if u grind" this was very unprofessional on her part as I kept trying to get her to stop. I was already feeling bad enough and she just lectured me how is that helpful?!! Finally another girl was kind enough to come in and put my implants back in. Like I said everyone was great but her. Walking into the reception area, experienced easy check-in and quick filling up of the new patient paperwork. Did notice that the waiting room did not have any self-beverage amenities like water or coffee or tea (which is why have reduced a star) but the seats were so comfy, I actually had a little snooze! My appointment time was 1:30 and I was called in within 5 mins of that time, so they were fairly prompt. The nurse who took my blood pressure and explained the process was a wonderful person by the name of Patty and she was AWESOME! What impressed me the most was that she explained everything so well, and she probably has to run thru this same spiel umpteen times a day, but honestly you wouldn't know that cause she was so attentive! After the consult and the options were explained to me, I made a decision on the procedure, and was straightaway next directed to the office Mgr for payment. Then went back to the waiting room and was called a few minutes later and headed into surgery. My actual surgery was so quick and painless! I was honestly amazed at the dexterity with which Dr Garfinkel removed the tooth, I couldn't believe it was all done in 5 minutes! Patty then gave me detailed post-op instructions and 2.5 hours later I was headed home. It was a very good overall experience and apart from the lack of beverages availability, I didn't experience any other issues. Would absolutely recommend and suggest asking for Patty. Yelp 139 /2018

On one of my teeth they gave me a filling and in doing so cracked a previous filling, when I went back because I could feel the crack, they told me I now needed a root canal. I went to another dentist for a second opinion, all the tooth needs is for the filling they damaged to be repaired. On another tooth they gave me a crown and I've had extremely painful temperature sensitivity ever since. They told me that tooth also needed a root canal, which was not discussed prior to getting the filling. The other dentist said that the bite is still high, so I may need the root canal, but adjusting the bite may also solve the problem. I paid them over $2,000 and they did more harm than good and tried to sell me on over $6,000 of unnecessary work. I went back several times because of these issues and they refuse to take responsibility for the damage they caused and their lack of transparency with the crown.
