Susan at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and made the check-in process easy. I arrived about 10 minutes before my 5:12 appointment, and they took me back almost exactly on time, which I really appreciated. The medical assistant who took my vitals was professional and personable. I enjoyed talking with him, and as a Navy veteran, I even tried to convince him to consider joining the Navy! Physician Assistant Ward listened to my concern about a missing hearing aid dome and thoroughly examined my ear. Sure enough, the dome was lodged deep in my ear canal. He carefully removed it, with assistance from the medical assistant, and I experienced immediate relief. I appreciated his skill and professionalism. The facility itself is conveniently located, the lobby and exam areas are clean, and the restroom has always been well maintained. The only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is that the waiting room chairs are showing their age and could use replacement. Also, while today's providers were excellent, I've occasionally encountered providers over the years who seemed a bit rushed. I understand that urgent care is a busy environment and many cases become routine for clinicians, but a little extra compassion and reassurance always makes a difference from a patient's perspective. Overall, this continues to be my go-to urgent care in Wilmington. The staff is friendly, the care is reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Medac Urgent Care in Monkey Junction

Waited about 25 minutes and the collector Barrett Stevens called me in somehow there was some screw up with the paperwork from my company's side. I was on the phone forever trying to get it fixed and finally Barrett called his corporate and got it handled for me. Took me an hour in traffic to get there and I was there for over an hour but he kept me laughing and put me in a better mood. The place is clean and the employees are friendly. I would definitely come here again if needed. I reccomend them.

I am not sure what all of their duties entail but I can say that they are always incredibly busy, with outstanding customer service at all times. I had a hard time typing the words "Customer Service" because they make me feel like family. Also... check in is a breath of fresh air compared to most other clinics. Amber and Robbie embrace you and get ya signed in and warmly seated with a sweet smile. There is never a wait so very shortly you get called back weighed, vitals taken , etc, all done quickly and with utmost respect. Again NO WAIT....then,IN A FLASH There is a knock at the door and in walks your provider!!!! Every Single Time!!! Bonus is that urgent care is right there, they have their own lab too!!! They take most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid. I cannot emphasize enough how great the front desk staff is. Also no one gets referrals done as fast as these guys do. They're fast professional and on the ball. They make you feel like they understand. I have been there in extreme pain and simply their eye contact and tone of voice has calmed me down.
