Bam, he diagnoses me and starts listing 3 medicines and their side affects. I try to ask what they do, and he says "they do what they are supposed to do, google it." I start to cry because of his bluntness and lack of sympathy/explanation. The nurse just faces away from me and gives me a shot once i stop crying. I'm not angry with her, she just thought i was afraid of needles. What type of doctor tells you to google it? (Perhaps he didn't know himself) I quickly do as hes talking, and I am startled because the first descriptions talk about how one of the drugs is a dirty drug. This just encourages me to ignore my doctors advice, stop trying to get patients in an out, show some care in what you do. This isn't a timed test. You went to medical school, spent all that time working to get here, and for what?

I definitely recommend this doctor for anyone.

I really really REALLY miss my former dermatologist. She…read moredoesn't take my insurance anymore so that's why I ended up at this practice. This practice was recommended from a friend. While this practice seems to know dermatology, I can say from my all too brief experience with them recently that the bedside manner at this practice has much to be desired. I didn't have to wait very long in the waiting room before I went in to see the doctor, but as soon as he came in and looked me over, I just seemed to be rushed out of there. I was trying to ask some questions that I had written down because it had been awhile since I had seen a dermatologist. Unfortunately I just felt like there was really no interest to hear me or spend any more time with me. I can't stand being treated like livestock moving through chute. From my past experiences in seeing a new doctor for the first time, it's basically customary that they really should take a little extra time with you to get to know you and develop some kind of a doctor/patient relationship. That's not the case with this practice apparently. Get in and get out immediately like it's a jewel heist or the building is on fire. It's quite unprofessional as well as annoying and disrespectful.

Even knowing he has removed cancer from me personally and that my father died of skin cancer. The culture of his office, following his lead, is rude and disrespectful. You as the business should just make a copy of it you need to and save your patients time and a little aggravation. I have alot of patience but even I walked up and finally said I just started filling in what I hadn't already put on 3 forms unfortunately I can no longer keep filling in the same thing in the tiniest areas as well I was given. The forms need redone js. It's not name and dob either as that was filled in for me it's all the rest of it. Just left a bad taste in my mouth for such a great visit! Other than that it was 15 minutes for my MRI . 10 minutes paperwork and out the door I went! My visit was very quick and my tech was veryprofessional and nice! I enjoyed listening to Sirius XM and that the MRI was open-ended since I'm claustrophobic! Very nice job!

I had a hard time deciding on an esthetician to go to and I'm thankful that I found and picked Amanda and Flourish! I've been lucky and have had pretty clear, albeit sensitive, skin for most of my life, but my skin went haywire earlier this year. Nothing I did helped clear my acne and I was to the point where I had over treated my skin and it was painful to the touch. I knew that if I wanted to clear it up and keep it clear, I need to meet with a professional to understand what was happening. In came Amanda. At our first appointment, she had me fill out a detailed questionnaire about my makeup, skincare, eating, and lifestyle habits. She looked at my skin and presented me with a few options on how we could tackle clearing up my skin. I ultimately chose to participate in her Clear Skin Club, where I went in for an acne facial twice a month for three months. Additionally, she recommended that I use certain products according to exactly what my skin needed. She provided me with paperwork that was in layman's terms so that I could understand what types of products agitate our skin and cause acne. I made the necessary adjustments to my makeup by weeding out products that are pore-clogging and using the skincare products Amanda recommended. I fully committed to following her guidance! She literally educated me on an entire world that I didn't know about and drastically improved my skin in the process. I'm so thankful I found Amanda. She helped me not only clear up with skin via facials, but helped me understand the science behind skin and breakouts in order to maintain clear skin moving forward. I'm done with the Clear Skin Club, but plan to continue going to Amanda for facials periodically. I highly recommend that you visit her at Flourish!!
