I called recently to set up an appointment only to find out she left the practice. Why would she take on a new patient in December when she knew she was leaving. Apparently Advanced Dermatology who bought her practice is only interested in $$$. When I asked to have a copy of my records sent to me I was told that I had to come into the office to fill out the paperwork. I have never in all my life had to visit a Dr's office to get a copy of my records. I was told the manager would call me and over a week later I have not heard from her. It is not a practice I would use in the future...

I had a horrible experience with a previous dermatologist, but after one appointment with him, the doctor had an aggressive strategy laid out that cleared up my complexion within a year. The major downside to Dr. McCausland is that every time I saw him, I had to wait for about an hour after my appointment time, like clockwork. You can probably chalk that up to the demand for his medical expertise.

My skin turned into nightmare! It was peeling and zits were all over my face. Dr. Christine insured me that it's normal and in 3 months I will have perfect skin. She was charging me every month 150$ for chemical peel, which I can do on my own for 5$ with esthetician license. After 3 months of suffering from my terrible acne and post acne scars she prescribed me another antibiotic, which also didn't help me. When I went to trip to Ukraine I called esthetician who suggested me to visit Gastroenterologist and Gynecologist and get tested on parasites, hormonal disbalanse etc. I found out that my issue was intestine related, I went through therapy and in 1 month I have great skin. Why Christina Sciara didn't refer me to any doctor, when she saw no results? Why this person has rights to harm my health with antibiotics, which I used for 4 months without knowing real cause of my acne? Why she didn't change treatment when saw that I break out even more? Ukrainian esthetician knows more about skin than Christine Sciara,and Christina is U Penn graduate. When I asked for Christina Sciara on a phone, she refused talking to me and send her nurse dealing with angry customer. She refused to refund my money back. I'm extremely upset I wasted 4 months of my life on dealing with dermatologist , who doesn't know how to cure acne. I highly recommend stay away from her practice. She doesn't take insurances ( only cash), she doesn't want to respond to customer, she doesn't treat disease, but make it worse. All she said , that everybody's skin is different and reacts differently, it takes time. In my case, with stomach and digesting issues I'd never see a cure from antibiotics, but waste more money and time on this unprofessional doctor. In my opinion, she just doesn't care about her patients and their health.
