Dave is missing and forgetting critical pieces of information for my case. He does not remeber who I am or what my case is about when I call. He has sent me incorrect dates and filings which fall directly on me and I am the one who suffers the ramifications. Thankfully I am competent enough to catch his errors, but not everyone is in the state of mind to do so. Most importantly, and what the final straw for me was, is that Dave continues to forget for 3 months that I have a career/job and is not using that to help my situation. Dave is not fighting for me and I feel just like another number. He is good with his words and extremely nonchalant. I am the one who is coming up with ideas and pressing my case. He pushes me off the phone as soon as possible, does not give me straight answers and just wants to play the cool guy. The onboarding process is set up in a way that you never actually speak with Dave until AFTER you pay. If I would have spoken to Dave before paying, I would have shopped around because his lack of care and urgency is very concerning. I spoke with collegues of his (that onboarded me) who have just left his firm for these exact reasons listed above. This is not the first review that Dave has received like this. You can try to counter what I am saying but everything is fact and I have written proof and conversations about these errors. I will be filling with the State Bar and requesting a full refund so I can work with a more urgent and competent lawyer to help save my case.

After more than 2 weeks, I called to follow up and was told they were just waiting for the second attorney to make her notes and I would be contacted shortly. After more than a week passed, I followed up with a second phone call only to be told the same thing. I let the person know how time sensitive the situation is and she seems to understand and promised I would be contacted shortly. It's been over a month since my initial interview and NOTHING. It's very unprofessional. I let them know I DO NOT want their services. It's just common courtesy to keep the person up to date with what's going on and maintain open communication. This was a TERRIBLE experience and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I even had the money, in cash, to pay for legal fees since my partner passed. I thought, I'm a disabled veteran, I'm gay, my partner just passed away, I have proof of discrimination at work, this law firm is definitely going to help me. They seem like good people that would actually help. I was wrong. Over the past year I've been involved with the EEO and my case is moving at a snails pace. This is the right law firm that I contacted. I contacted them twice. I did indeed speak to one of the lawyers over the phone. I also did indeed receive two "sorry we can't help you" type letters.
