Crosby & Crosby Attorneys at Law - Attorney Tyler Crosby and Attorney Mason Crosby

I would highly recommend Crosby & Crosby…read more I've worked with Tyler and he is super knowledgeable and personable. He gave me lots of his time and I never felt rushed like I have talking with other lawyers in the past. I could tell he's fully invested in his clients and really cares. He's also really good at explaining complex law in a way that is understandable and actionable. He's been doing this for many years and it shows. The rest of the staff there are super friendly and professional as well. Their office is nice and clean and has little things like free drinks/coffee and snacks in the waiting room which are a great touch. Overall would highly recommend!

Tyler- he is truly a good person. He is not your typical money-hungry attorney. He actually cares and is very up front about everything. He cares very much about his own family and that is reflected in his work! Brittany- I don't know if I'll ever have the words. She was a rock throughout all of this and never once made me feel like I was bothering her with my daily (and sometimes hourly) questions. She is truly a gem and I don't think anyone has nearly as much knowledge of case law as she does! I hope I never NEED the two of you again and I hope I don't have friends that do either- but if it happens, I know exactly who we'll call! Thank you, I will be eternally grateful for you both!

Fring her terrified me, but I knew I could not go thorough this experience with her. Even when you are the person seeking the divorce, it is a complicated and highly emotional time. When I retained his counsel, one of the first things Attorney Smith told me was that he felt there were times his clients needed to have their hand held, and other times when they might require a compassionate kick in the butt (not his exact words, but something to that effect). For the nine months he represented me though this trying time of my life, he stayed true to that proclamation. The patience shown by his paralegal (Maria) on days when I was close to a meltdown was also greatly appreciated. I am relieved it is over, and I am beyond grateful that I ended up with the perfect law firm to take me though the process. I don't often write online reviews, but this was absolutely necessary, as finding the right attorney is so important when going through a divorce. I highly recommend Attorney Michael Smith.

Was in a position over the weekend to assist my Partner with speaking to an attorney about her "in…read moreflight" divorce. Received a referral from an attorney friend for a lawyer at this firm (Zachary Townsend). Reviews were just OK, but I trusted the referral. Reached out via email over the weekend asking to setup a consultation (my partner was working over the weekend). On the Pro side, someone from the office left me a voicemail on Sunday touching base and asking me to call back on Monday AM. On Monday AM I called, thanked the person for reaching out on a Sunday. She asked what the consultation was about, and I shared that it was a divorce that is about a year into the process. We made an appointment for several days in the future. I was asked to fill out an "intake sheet" and paid for the consultation in advance. This is where things got bizarre. I completed the intake form right after the call. Added my Partners info (name, phone, address, etc) and case number. Submitted. Within minutes I get a VERY upset call from the office. I'm asked why I "misrepresented" that this was MY divorce and why my Partner didn't setup this consultation herself. I was trying to help my Partner. And I figured discussing her case with the attorney is what happens in the consultation, NOT on the phone with an office staffer. I calmly explained that there was nothing fishy going on here, and handed the phone to my Partner, who was sitting nearby. The office person continued to complain about our "sketchy" behavior, and told my Partner that "if I keep this consultation under NO circumstances can THAT MAN be on the phone, nor can you discuss your case with him". My Partner said "What are you talking about - he's with me through this process". Bam - office staff cancelled consultation, refunded my payment, and let me know that they had cancelled everything due to "misrepresentation". Mind you - we literally spoke on the phone for 60 secs total. Very strange - just be aware that this is the kind of bizarre, accusatory treatment you will likely receive if you choose to work with this firm. Feels like I dodged a bullet, especially in light of the other reviews. In their response they say I misrepresented - I did no such thing. Be prepared for weird behavior if you work with this firm.

I called to schedule an appointment for a divorce. Set an appointment, was sent forms through email…read morefill out, I filled them out and sent them back. One of the questions was an emergency contact. The only emergency contact I have is the one I'm trying to divorce, so in that spot I put do not have one. I was contacted afterwards via text saying they needed one. I explained I quite literally do not have one. And then i was told I was being taken off the schedule For refusing To provide one. I told them I wasn't refusing I just didn't have one to give Because my only one was the person I am trying to divorce. They didn't care. So I say this.: thanks pro legal care for making a painful situation even more crappy. Thanks for punishing me for not having a support system. keep up the great work. *response to comment* Eeeww, no sir. I did not lash out to anyone. Now I have an attitude and you can call that whatever you'd like. I cannot give you something I do not have. Would you rather I pick a random name and number out of a phone book? What is the purpose of needing an emergency contact? This is a divorce. Not surgery, not you taking care of a minor. A divorce. In what instance would there be a need for an emergency contact? We don't have to call it punishment, you can put whatever word you would like on it. But the fact is, you are refusing service to someone who doesn't have a support system. I simply do not have an emergency contact. And if it were relevant in any way shape or form I would understand you denying me help. And don't pat yourself on the back. A free consultation is nothing compared to the hundreds if not thousands of dollars you charge once you there is an agreement to represent. If I'm mistaken and you are for whatever reason completely free start to finish then I apologize. But I have yet to find a place like that.

I have been to pretty much every lawyer in town and in the surrounding area. I have never met in my entire life and honest, hard-working, devoted, prompt and man of faith attorney in my entire life! I was at Ray law office once in the man flipped his pockets inside out because that's what all these lawyers care about is money, money, money!! Unfortunately I heard Steven doesn't do family law any longer because I would definitely use him again over anyone else. He worked with me on the retainer fee and I didn't have to pay him my $1,500 until I received my taxes. Until then I only paid him $200 a month. He always returned my calls and emails and text messages and was always on time to court. A different lawyer I had named Dave castañero never showed up and never gave me any invoices I never had a free consultation he was always late and he made me uncomfortable by yelling and court and getting all hot and sweaty and dramatic with the judge. Steven is the opposite. Steven is a perfect example of how an attorney should be. Someone who cares about a family he is a family man not just someone that wants your money. I don't know what happened with his license in the past but you can't please everyone. I should have done this review a long time ago and I think I've done one in the past. But what goes around comes around and people that are dishonest such as lawyers or whoever or people that are trying to get innocent people in trouble you know it is all in God's hands. I wanted to thank Steven and Melanie and Sandra slaga who retired but she was an awesome guardian ad litem for our son. I was going to get full custody but then I decided to reconcile with my ex-husband. We are still together right now. Thank you Steven and your team! May God bless you and everyone you encounter in your life and your beautiful family. I hope someone sees this especially Steven and anyone who may have doubted him he is the best attorney I have ever met and will ever know. Michelle Anast
