If you love cheese, hate cheese, are indifferent about cheese, or have never tried cheese you all…read moreneed to come to Cheese & More. This place has it all; creamy cheese, hard cheese, smoked cheese, goat cheese, rosemary infused cheese, sharp and mild cheese, round cheese, square cheese, you get the picture... My husband who is normally somewhat indifferent about his cheese tastes tried a smoked cow cheese and said it was the best thing he'd ever eaten. The store itself is set amidst München in all its glory and beauty and the inside is a feast for the eyes. There are cheeses everywhere in all various shapes, sizes, colors, and flavors. Sadly we could not taste or buy them all, but we sure did want to! The prices are high; ok quite high, but one taste and your salivary glands will convince your wallet to pay up for the goods. The cheeses travel in their sealed wrappers and stay fresh for a significant time (not that they will last that long). When we entered Cheese & More we also found the shop employee (aka cheese expert) to be quite friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and speak English and German. This little cheese store is worth stopping in and trying; your charcuterie board will be happy you did so.

This is a cheese shop featuring a large variety of Henri Willig cheese, as well as "more"…read more(crackers, jams, and other things that pair with cheese). There are samples and the cheese wheels are wrapped in wax and suitable to keep at room temp to transport abroad. The staff at the shop was also very friendly and spoke English. Highly recommend!

One of the highlights of my time in Munich. I love a good outdoor market and this one is one of…read morethe best. Open everyday except Sunday, you can find everything here. Fresh flowers, meats, cheeses, baked goods and fresh baked breads, and of course beer and wine bars. There's something here for everyone and it's always fun checking out all the different booths. I walked over every morning for fresh Cappuccino at Leo's Kaffee and would pick up a pastry at one of the bakeries. In the afternoon, I would stop by the pickle guy and buy a few of the best pickles I've ever eaten. So many choices from sweet to sour, spicy and my favorite a super sour with a spicy horseradish. The long line moves quickly and if you like pickles, you must stop here.

This was easily one of my favorite farmers markets in Europe. There was a great selection of fresh…read moreproduce, condiments, snacks, alcohol, tea, flowers, cheese, and more. Unfortunately, I visited during the holidays, so some stalls weren't open. One shop in particular really caught my attention--it specialized in mustard (Senf) and offered so many varieties I had never seen or even heard of before. I was excited to try everything. Prices ranged from €2 to €7 per bottle, and while I was tempted to buy several, my luggage limitations held me back. In the end, I chose two: black truffle mustard and matcha mustard. Can't wait to try them once I'm back home.
