Truly, if it wasn't for the Space I think I would have slowly died of boredom living here! A centre for performing arts including music, comedy, theatre, dance and film they have a really innovative calendar of events. I've been to see some experimental (and quite frankly surreal) performances that have been real eye openers and definitely something to be discussed long into the night. Whilst the last thing I saw was a Classical Music Recital that included an all girl barbershop quartet, a Tango-cabaret (including songs of Marlene Dietrich) and a piano Beethoven trio! This is what I love about the Space, they're not afraid to mix things up a little bit and offer some exciting and very original acts. Also, if you live close by they offer a few of the performances for free. We received a "For being our neighbor..." letter through our door inviting us to a Christmas anti-panto and a comedy night, both absolutely free. It's their friendly neighborhood attitude, trying to survive in an area of suited and booted city types, that I love the most. The cool Hububb bar and restaurant is upstairs too and if you are coming here don't leave without popping in after a performance. Open until 12am most days, it's a great place to wax lyrical over whatever you've just had the pleasure of seeing. Keep up the good work Space!

The look and feel of the is on trend and it has ample seating downstairs. There is an upstairs area that I believe is used for a variety of different shows, burlesque and the such like. They have a variety of craft beers on tap alongside the regulars, Guinness, etc. They have a good range of spirits on the top shelf. I did not try the wines. It was told by someone who did that the house white was ok. The food menu is limited, burgers, chicken dish and veggie option. So traditional pub food. They had a DJ who played some good music, some tunes I really was not expecting!! So if you are down Nun Head way it's worth a visit.

The Old Nuns Head truly has carved itself out as the heart of this small community and lays on all sorts of events from ale festivals to karaoke (no bonus for guessing which of those I prefer! ;). They even have a yoga class that is run upstairs in a big hall, but am reliably informed it is run by a sexed up crazy lady - never know though, this could be EXACTLY what you are looking for?! The place is clean, has a wonderful atmosphere that they work hard to keep relaxed and cosy. The food menu is good, Sunday lunch is actually fantastic and there are even a wide range of board games for you and your mates to get caught up in over a cold one. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that they have recently extended the menu from traditional British food (of very healthy proportions) to include a Thai menu which does, I'm disappointed to report, leaves a lot to be desired. However, the Roasts and other traditional foods are still on the menu and still a big hit with me. Great pub, fantastic building, wonderful bar staff and is a real selling point of the area. Pop in, you won't be disappointed!

My work was inside the O2 arena which is inside this outlet too. I went to Nandos, Five Guys, Chiptole, German Kabob and a Thai restaurant. It was reminiscent of the Planet Hollywood Mall except it is [semi]circular. There is a Wetherspoons located on either end (yay!) as well restaurants that specialize in worldly cuisines. I went for the first time to see my favorite boy band, Five, on their reunion tour. A 20,000+ person capacity arena in the center of a "mall" is wild. The arena had great sound, and even though I was in the upper tier stage-left, I had a clear view of the stage. For a first time visitor, it is important to note that the upper tier is very steep. I was only in the 2nd row from the ledge, so I did not have any issues with vertigo/motion sickness. However, I would personally avoid seats near the top because I know I would have issues. There is a separate merch store outside the area to avoid crazy lines once you enter the arena. You can bring small packages and pursues inside but they made others rent a locker to place large packages and jackets. In addition to the arena, there is a smaller venue that was simultaneously hosting a K-Pop concert and the dinner venue for Mamma Mia! I wish I would have arrived when the shops first opened as I could have easily spent an entire day wandering around. If you are visiting London and have the opportunity to see a show at one of the venues, I highly recommend making a day of it!
