He looked into what type of battery was needed he purchased it and told me he was on his way to my home. He arrived, we BS'd for a few minutes, he removed the old/original battery, which would have been difficult for me to do, he put the new one in, tested all my equipment, took the old battery and was on his way. What a great experience and my first time using a mobile mechanic. I was able to get things done around the house, didn't have to find out where, when and what type of battery to buy, didn't have to drive to where the service was going to accomplish the task at hand, didn't have to wait impatiently at the service center, yada, yada, yada, all that other stuff we experience in those matters. I was recently notified, by the storage owner, that the vehicle would not start, he believed it to be the mechanical fuel pump as the issue. I contacted Gomez Mobile repair and others eventually speaking with the owner of Gomez, Andres. Andres gave me what I believed a fair price to diagnose and install a new mechanical fuel pump, new hose and filter if needed. I supplied the parts and within two days, Andres, had been to the storage unit, confirmed the fuel pump was the problem and installed the pump. I needed the jeep running the day I return from SE Asia to Greenville. Andres kept me informed, did the work and unbelievably stuck to his price which no mobile service guy does, I was shocked. Andres is well educated on car repair and will soon have his Master ASE technician certification! Andres cost was less than half of other estimates, who after receiving their quotes, I thought they must be quoting changing out the entire engine. Andres is a reservist in the Greenville SC area and serving our great country! I cannot thank him enough, who knew but there are still honest men out there! Andres called me after the repair and talked with me about everything he did. If you require mobile repair, I sincerely believe Andres and Gomez repair deserves a call and your business! He came out, and I felt like he gave me an honest diagnostic, it cost $80 and I felt good about the information he provided. However, my truck was going to need to get towed as it was in not starting. Josh wrote up a contract that I would pay him half the money up front, he would purchase the parts and then upon completion of the work I would pay the remainder in full. I agreed, and proceeded to send Josh half the money. Since he got the money he has dropped off the face of the earth and I have not received so much as a text update from him. I called Square (his payment processor, that he wrote the contract through) and have he won't even respond to them. They're now telling me I need to go through my bank to try and process a refund. Today's date: June 20,2025 Last communication received from business: May 9, 2025. Beware.... Do not recommend.

Replaced with factory-recommended brand and got us back on the road.
