As a person who has had more than my share of car damage, I have dealt with plenty of body shops. It is no understatement that the treatment I received by Jeff at Fender Mender was absolutely extraordinary in the best possible way. From the time that I was greeted, Jeff took time with me to make sure I felt welcome and at home. He explained the options for my car repair extremely thoroughly. He even provided me with questions and considerations should I go somewhere else. He graciously offered to speak to the folks who were responsible for the damage to explain the costs and the "why" behind what he was doing. He understands that the investment that we made in our vehicle was a sacrifice and one that we did not want a bad patch/paint job to mar our enjoyment and daily reminder of the accident. Every step of the way he was communicative and clear...from proactively calling me first thing Monday morning to let me know that our overnight drop off went well...all the way to delivering the car two days earlier than what was expected. I would have no reservations on sending my wife/children here to get service. Regardless of your comfort with auto-body repairs, Jeff takes the time to make you feel welcome and explains his process excellently. I am grateful for the recommendations I received to go to Fender Mender and I hope to never need auto body work again.... but in the likely chance I do, Jeff will be my first call. Jeff is in the *service* business, and you can tell. Before/after photos posted-metallic pearl white paint. As if it never happened!

I will never recommend Fairway Auto Body to anyone. To summarize my experience, it took them two…read moremonths to order and install a new side view mirror and fix the dents from the hurricane back in October. I paid for the mirror, but they initially ordered the wrong part. In December, I received a call saying they still had the incorrect part. They ended up installing a used mirror, which I was okay with, expecting a refund for the new mirror that I had paid for. However, I never received anything. When I finally got my car back after two months, they forgot to install the trim above my driver's side door. They took the car back to fix that, but in the process, they put a huge gash on the roof, which showed metal. They took my car again and this time offered a rental to compensate for the inconvenience. When my car was finally returned to me at work, I noticed scratches on both the driver's and passenger's sides, along with two dents on the roof. The manager offered to buff out the scratches, but at that point, I had had enough. He also suggested refunding me a small portion of what I had paid, but no check was in the mail. Overall, the quality of service was poor and careless. Additionally, I found that my windshield washer fluid pump had not been reconnected after they reinstalled my windshield. I highly recommend going somewhere else. The customer service and quality in my experience receive an F grade. .

Our car was dropped off for repairs from a rear ending. They assessed the damage and told me they…read morehave all the parts they need except the lift gate is on back order from the manufacturer. A month goes by without them contacting me once, I had to reach out every week and hold their hand to get an update. Often times they would go a full day without answering my calls. After a month, I call again and they said they have the lift gate but now they found a sensor that also needs replacement and now that part is on back order and they won't do anything until it comes in because this sensor is installed first. If this was truly needed first in line of operations, then any competent mechanic would've seen the sensor was trashed and needed to be replaced as soon as they removed the old liftgate during inspection. They didn't have the guts or good will to update me about their mistakes either. Terrible business practices overall, will not be going back here ever. 0/5 stars.
