Unfortunately I did not have the best experience here. Going to the dentist in general is not a walk in the park so I usually will do my research thoroughly to ensure all will go as smooth as it can. This location is 30 minutes away from where I live but I picked the 7am appointment in hopes to avoid any delay. Got to my appointment and no one was at the desk to check me in. The receptionist eventually arrived to work and I was checked 15 minutes after my appointment and then they put a sign on the reception glass that said they were in a meeting....So I waited another 30 minutes to be seen. The xray tech was kind but it was her first day and the trial and error of her learning how to place the pieces in my mouth and the machine was uncomfortable and took long. The dentist was very kind and she listened to me and that is what the two stars are for. The hygienist was really why I won't be returning. I felt that when I was asking questions she became defensive instead of informative which was very uncomfortable and did not allow me to learn WHY I needed what she was stating. She continued making these defensive comments while she was in my mouth cleaning and talking to me in a belittling tone. Once I was ready for check out the receptionist was going on and on about how she just got back to work because she has a sinus infection that won't go away. Everything you want to hear while talking in close proximity to someone lol. I left nearly two hours after my appointment start time. I think the dentist is lovely but that alone did not makeup for the disregard of my time and the lack of bedside manner from the hygienist and receptionist. read more

Honestly, no body wants to go to the dentist and I'm no exception! I will say, this husband and wife dentist team has changed my opinion about going to the dentist. I feel so confident in their ability and she really has a way to put you at ease. Jennifer- the front desk manager- is so sweet and makes you feel like you are arriving at a friends house. Grayhawk Dentistry I've been a patient there for 7 years but 4 years ago I moved to Tucson. I'm so glad to be back with Dr. Bahar Ata-Abadi an Dr. Kamran Ata-Abadi I've been gone for 4 years and they treated me like family when I return. The ladies in the office even squeeze me in for teeth cleaning and x-rays the same day. If your considering a good dentist these are two are the best I have ever experienced!! The scheduler and the receptionist are fantastic, and the 2 dental hygienist Becky and Andrea are hands-down the absolute greatest tartar Buster's I have ever met. I should change their names to mop & Glo because that's how clean and shiny your teeth will feel. All General hygienist aren't the same.ps Becky has some of the best jokes be prepared to relaxing enjoy yourself.. read more

I have been more than pleased with this dental office. In fact my family, my parents and my brother all visit this office now. The dentists are both very professional and thorough. The hygentists are kind and warm, without being bossy, or making me feel guilty. I never feel like I am uncmfortable and I know they work hard to ensure my entire mouth and overall health is well taken care of. I highly recommnend this office. read more

My first visit was due to a dental emergency. Not severe, but new to area and had no relationship with a dentist. I picked the nearest to my home and found a treasure. Great staff. Competent and caring. Most thorough explanation of process I've ever had. Dr. Bahar is wonderful. Painless and keeps you completely engaged during your treatment. I especially like that Dr. Bahar provides guidance, not pressure, when explaining a dental procedure she advises. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ata-Abadi and her staff! I am very anxious when it comes to dental visits and they were very caring, attentive, and gentle. When I had my cleaning, they put strips on my sensitive teeth to numb them so I couldn't feel a thing and when I went back for fillings I was given headphones to listen to music to help me relax. Very Bad experience. Was upfront about paying ahead based on my FSA. I paid ahead for all the services they scheduled out for me based on that budget. Then I got a large bill later and them claiming that insurance did not pay what they expected it to. Very Unethical, would not recommend. read more

Three of my daughter's fillings fell out in less than a year. When we went in to have the fillings replaced we were told that it was nothing that the dentist had done, that we would have to pay for new fillings. The initial appointment was made to take care of the first filling that fell out. However, once she was in there, they proceeded to do x-rays and a cleaning. When I complained about that, I was told that it was usual to do those even if not requested. I was not present when the procedures were done so was not able to tell them not to proceed with x-rays or the cleaning. I might add that my daughter did not have dental insurance. My daughter was told that she would need a root canal in the tooth that the first filling fell out of. We have since found a new dentist who filled the tooth without an expensive root canal.We should have been leery of this office when during her first visit for fillings she was poorly treated. My daughter suffers from extreme anxiety and I explained that she had to have Nitrous oxide during the procedure. They ran out of Nitrous oxide half way through the procedure which caused her anxiety to escalate. I asked why they started when they were aware how low they were...the response was... "we thought we could get it done with what we had". We were charged the full price for the Nitrous oxide. My daughter kept telling me she did not feel comfortable in the chair, but I kept taking her back in. I would not recommend Drs. Ata-Abadi to anyone. In addition to the poor dental care, the office staff is extremely immature and unprofessional. read more

In August I was in Michigan and had complete x-rays, and deep teeth and gum cleaning done at a dentist I knew. Tlhey advised me that when I went back to Arizona for nine months I should have a cleaning done within 4-6 months. They emphasized that cleaning would all the services I would need and no x-rays needed to be taken. My wife goes to Greyhawk dental so I made an appointment for cleaning my teeth and made arrangements for all my dental records to be e-mail to Greyhawk. When they made the appointment they said the cleaning would cost $94.00. When I arrived for my appointment they first told me that because I was over the six month time period they would have to do x-rays. They had all my records from Michigan. I said that would be unacceptable since I had complete x-rays just a little over six months ago and I have not had a cavity for over 15 years. I was angry and left. While they were treating my wife they said well they would reduce the amount of x-rays so it would only be $30 more. They also mentioned they had to do that because this was my first visit. Never said anything like that when I made the appointment but told me upon my arrival. I still declined and said that I called for a cleaning; they gave me the price and never said anything about x-rays until I got there. Based upon the dentist in Michigan who told me that I would just need a cleaning and nothing else I declined to be serviced read more
