I've used this business twice now for emergency, time-sensitive dental servicing. They are typically open until midnight. My most recent visit was for my kid's tooth abscess. Found it right at bed time, funny how that's when kids like to tell you about things! We called here around 9pm and we were seen at 9:45pm. Consultation/drainage/tooth extraction for a total of $700, and $30 for the medication from the pharmacy. Considering how a tooth abscess can be a life threatening condition, I was blown away. I've taken my kids to emergency rooms before only to leave with nothing more than the same problem I entered with and a $1,000+ bill. We had been saving up for the past few months, we had hoped for a family vacation at the end of the summer (we've never had one since our kids were born) and unfortunately we had to rob Peter to pay Paul. However, the staff was great and made sure my kid felt safe and comfortable to ease her nerves. read more

Husband had a broken/infected wisdom tooth and had to go on a Saturday. Booked the appointment Friday night and the receptionist on the phone was friendly and answered my questions. Next day, we were the first to be seen. Lobby does smell a little funny but environment was clean and welcoming. My husband got his wisdom tooth extracted and infection was cleaned out, all in less then 2 hours! Went to the pharmacy and got ibuprofen 800, Tylenol with codeine, and Amoxicillin. Today is day 4 after surgery and my Husband is doing good, no infection and no pain. We give the Dentist and staff a 10 outta 10! read more

UNETHICAL! I read the other bad reviews on this place and decided to just take a chance. WORST DECISION EVER ! I had a terrible experience with Dental Emergency Care and would not recommend them to anyone. I called ahead to inquire about consultation fees and extraction prices. I was told the consultation was $90 (which is non refundable and does not go towards the service) and extractions started at $200, which matched quotes I'd received from other dental offices. Based on this, I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I was weary because of the unpleasant smell of urine flowing throughout the air. Regardless, I paid the $90 non refundable consultation fee, only to be told they were charging $880 for a simple extraction and $1250 to include a bone graph--more than five times the starting price I was quoted! When I questioned this, they denied ever giving me that price and tried to claim I called the wrong facility, even though I showed them my notes with their full name, address, and the information I was given. The women at the front desk were dishonest and blatantly tried to gaslight me. It's clear they bait people in with false pricing information, and I feel like my consultation fee was completely wasted. This kind of unethical behavior is unacceptable. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I left this place feeling so robbed and defeated as someone already experiencing physical pain, they really just added towards the grief. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration--go somewhere else! EDIT: Another facility called Gold Coast Dental Farmers Branch helped me, Thank God! I paid $250 for my tooth extraction including a bone graph TOTAL! And the consultation was free. They also took WAY MORE in depth x-rays. And the facility is way cleaner and up to date with modern technology. I guess everything happens for a reason and God makes no mistakes. We were in Houston and husband started having some tooth discomfort yesterday. This morning he woke up to a swollen cheek. He was paranoid about it being abscessed since our son had an abscessed tooth a few years ago and it swelled up underneath his eye and have to have surgery. Crazy thing is, I was looking through my pics at when son had his abscess, and it was 3 years ago to the day. I'm like well you have to wait until tomorrow before discovering there are emergency dentists and they're open on a Sunday! I got him into one in Houston and the dentist there said he needed a retreat of a root canal. We decided to just come on back to DFW and I found DEC. DEC is open Mon-Friday 4 pm-12 am, Saturday from 12 pm-12 am, and Sunday 9 am to 8 pm! I called from Houston and 5 hours later, husband was getting his tooth pulled. Straight forward, no bs'ing and too the point. Yes, they want payment up front even with insurance and pricey, but what dentist doesn't cost? What you going to do if you're in pain? Live with it? Wait until it gets worse? Go to the hospital for a bigger bill? Worth it, imo. Friendly staff and dentist. Dr. Lee did a great same day service, I am happy with the temporary made for me. I was in pain with a cavity and infection on the opposite side of where the work was done. Dr Lee refused me pain medication. My only problem was he ignored my pain but made me a great temp. He suggested I have two teeth removed and I was told by his dental assistant I'd be ok and to have my teeth removed without pain pills to heal as she dances on to the next patient (literally) . She was maybe in her mid 20's with all of her teeth. How would she know? I worked as a dental assistant for 18 years many years ago, anything could go wrong. It's is insane to me. What if dry socket occurs, along with the discomfort or no dry socket just the discomfort having teeth removed. Not to mention the impression they did on me while I was in pain. Very kind, team player, and patient. Lastly Doctor Sofia is outstanding and caring. That woman knows what she is doing. She got the job done and took care of every little things that came up. Highly recommend this dental office! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I went in with an extreme toothache...which could have easily been diagnosed as a dead tooth (underneath a veneer). But Dr. Reeves did a thorough job in detecting the core issue and discovered I was most likely grinding my teeth. I can not describe the pain I was experiencing and by the time I left Dr. Reeves had solved the problem and I was on my way within an hour. This is the most amazing dentist I have seen and I have seen many! He is kind, listens to his patients, is passionate about helping his patients and does this all with a sense of humor. I feel so blessed I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Reeves help me out. He is a life saver!! read more

I can't express how amazing this office is. The Dentist was extremely understanding and really showed he cared. I was in so much pain coming in this was the 3rd dentist I saw due to a wisdom tooth that needed to come out. I drove from Simms to Dallas to see this Dentist and I'm so glad I did. The other places were charging way too much and pressuring me to pull more teeth than needed. They also were insisting I needed to be put under. I paid less here, the procedure did not require me to be put to sleep. Best of all the procedure to pull the tooth out was painless. The surgery was done in a matter of minutes and was not invasive at all. The nurse and receptionist were all very friendly. My pain meds were called in to the pharmacy right away. The two offices mentioned below are affiliated and posted in each organization's review: The absolute worst experience I have had with a doctor or dental office. The office in north Fort worth is connected to a dentist at 2644 north beltline in Arlington. I scheduled an appointment the night before for 4:30. The 2644 office called me at 2 the day of Apple to say the Dr. Would not be at the office until 6pm. So, they need to push my appointment back. I was ok with that. When I arrive, the dentist called to say he would not arrive until 7PM. He called a second time to say he would not make it until 7:40, according to staff, if he came at all. There were at least 2 of us waiting. How does an emergency say he or she is not going to show up with patients scheduled, no notice that would allow patients to schedule an appointment elsewhere that day. The staff originally said they could not help me find another emergency dentist nearby. So, I waited. Rhen she called the other office, who could see me. That office was 30 mins away. I drove to the second location. At that site, staff could not find the patient registration that staff at first location swore would be in the system. After completing paperwork 3 times, they found it. While I was completing the paperwork, the staff .Over another person who arrived after me into the exam room. And I had to wait again. After an extraction and a bone graph which I was advised wasn't optional, prescriptions were to be sent to a local 24-hour pharmacy. It was to be sent immediately according to staff. I waited for 45 minutes. I would give them 0 stars if that were an option. read more

The only thing redeeming about this business is the receptionist. I went in there on a Saturday because I had a dental emergency. I waited an hour to get seen, they did x-rays and brought me to a room. Afterwards, Dr. Sofia Kwak came in and proceeded to lecture me for 15 minutes about to condition of my teeth, something I am already aware and self conscious of. She had absolutely no bedside manner and not a kind bone in her body. She laid out the treatment plan and then I waited an hour for them to tell me they couldn't find my insurance because it was the weekend and they couldn't contact the insurance companies and I would have to pay out of pocket for oral surgery and there was nothing they could do. They could have at least told me that without making me wait an hour. I understand the billing process and that payment is required. My biggest issue is with the doctor who refuses to show any empathy to people in pain. Do not go here if you have a fear of dentists or you want to be treated humanely by the doctors performing surgery on you. read more

My filling feel out this morning while flossing. Today is SATURDAY---OMG! I immediately panicked--what am I going to do?!!! I can't be like this the whole weekend and I definitely don't want the tooth to start hurting. I googled "Emergency Dental Care". A few options came up. The first one's answering machine came on and advised they were closed even though online it said '24 hour'. I called the next one; it was the Irving office--spoke to a wonderfully professional receptionist. I told her my issue, asked whether I could be seen, and she sent me a link to begin the new patient registration. The dentist was great. The dental assistants were great. Everything was very clean and professional. It may be a little pricier, but they are an after-hours care clinic, so I guess the care comes at a premium. Anyhoo, the dentist reviewed my X-rays, examined the tooth, gave me a couple of options--replaced the filling (my choice) and I was on my way. Thank Goodness for them! read more

Excellent experience at Dental Emergency today! The team was fast, courteous, welcoming and best of all; affordable! I had a broken tooth and as it turns out, needed a root canal. I'm normally terrified at the dentist, but they made sure I was comfortable and totally numb. The procedure is no picnic, but they made as comfortable as possible. Everything was great! The wait was a little longer than expected, but I am from the school that teaches; when it's your turn you are the focus until done. I expect the people in front of me required a little more service than anticipated. They accepted my insurance, open on Saturday, didn't try to schedule another appointment for the procedure, handled it same day (as the sign said). What more could you ask for? Oh, most importantly, the prices weren't jacked sky high due to us needing a dentist on a saturday afternoon. They are my primary dentist now, for sure. read more

When the mom can't sleep no one sleeps. Found "Same Day Dental" actually opened 24hrs. Came and Dr. Coco, Maria and Front Desk lady was super nice and got it done. We were in and out under an hour.. Bad front end work. Was told they work with my insurance but didn't tell me they were out of network. Charged me 807.50 to remove a tooth at the time. Then I got a bill later saying insurance didn't pay and got charged another 279.00! Because I was in so much pain I feel like they took advantage of pain.. Many months later and I am still being billed for the entire procedure after being told that the amount I paid during the procedure would be my my half. After speaking to my insurance company, this dentist tried to get it authorized using a code that was dishonest, so it was denied. The reviews are good and the young lady that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and polite, which is why I chose this place.
