We came here for breakfast in honors of Veterans Day and it was busy as anticipated yet worth it. Staff was great and helpful as well as efficient ! You would think the wait would be great but we were seated pretty quick (10-15 min maybe). We had the grand slam breakfasts with OJ and coffee. I am usually a french toast kind of person yet was missing waffles! It was cinnamony sweet which was fun and everything was enjoyable. We were on our way before the hour ended so that was impressive too! read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience at this Denny's location. My group stopped in early in the morning before beginning a trip, and the service we received from our server, Dakota, was quite disappointing. Several items from our meals were forgotten and brought to the table much later than the rest of the order. While mistakes can happen, what concerned me more was the manner in which customers were treated. During our visit, I observed Dakota interacting with a young woman who appeared to be picking up an order for a delivery service such as DoorDash or Uber. The young woman politely mentioned she had a pickup order, but Dakota walked past her without acknowledging her. The restaurant was not busy at the time, which made the situation seem even more unusual. The young woman waited for approximately ten minutes while being largely ignored. When she asked again about the order, Dakota appeared irritated and stated that the food was not ready. However, after the ten minutes had passed, I noticed Dakota simply package the food that had already been prepared before the young woman arrived and hand it to her. The woman seemed uncomfortable and confused during this situation. It was difficult to watch someone be treated that way. All customers--whether dining in or picking up orders--deserve to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the establishment and can make guests feel unwelcome. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that service can improve moving forward. Everyone deserves to have a positive and respectful experience when visiting a restaurant. Added picture of server in case anyone would like a different server when dining here. read more

I would not recommend this Dennys at all! We stopped by to have breakfast after driving back from California so mind you my whole family just wanted somewhere to sit that wasn't a car and to enjoy so food, but the food was absolutely disgusting, the lady that served us was okay but forgot a lot of things. We ordered coffee and a water didn't bring us waters, I started putting creamer in my coffee and as I went to stir something red came up and dissolved so fast I couldn't see what it was. Didn't feel comfortable drinking it, so I asked a new one. I ordered chocolate milk for my daughter we got regular milk. I ordered the lumberjack slam and it wasn't the best. I put ketchup on my hash browns and went a took a bite and just got a fishy taste. My husband pancakes were fully cooked. So we asked if they could be taken off our order and she said she would have to charge for the food we did eat so we were like okay sure. Right after she brought us our receipt I saw a baby roach crawling on the table!! So my husband walked up with the receipt with the roach on it and told them and the girl was like where did that come from.. I just wouldn't recommend this place at all. It was so upsetting because we just wanted to relax before we finished our 30 mins drive back home. read more

Went to have early breakfast with my 2 friends from out of town i was so embarrassed because we did expect it to be fine consuming which didn't matter to us but when we did get our food my friend used the syrup from on the table and there was 100's of black ants pouring out with the syrup. The waiter guy took our plate and mags my friend a new one she wasn't impressed nor was it appetizing. No offer for discount or free meal only offered me plate of food that took forever to make. Not happy at all. Beware read more

Food is fair. Service is good. The bathroom REEKS and has been filthy every time we come here.

Service was terrible. Waitress served 3 other parties that sat after us. She then dropped coffee on me. We had a baby and almost burnt him while serving me coffee. Don't come here read more

Food is fine. But the 410 BONNEY LAKE phones must be broken because they never answered when I called in for order picked up. Why bother paying tip money when you yourself are doing the service of grabbing the food from the cashier? read more

The brisket melt isn't good at all. I originally order the T-Bone steak and it came out grey. So I returned it for the brisket melt. The brisket was flavor-less and tough and very chewy in certain parts. The food here below subpar for diner food. They service is okays. The ambience is dull but what can you expect from an older building. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Got food from there weeks ago terrible cold yucky food. Emailed corporate nothing. Then they email me saying someone would get in touch with me. Still nothing. This was my first time at a Denny's and I have to admit it was very subpar. I ordered a french toast slam which included two pieces of french toast, eggs of my choice, and a side of meat which I got bacon. The french toast was great - plush, not overly sweet and nice and thick while not over battered. The eggs which I requested sunny side up was fried to hell on the bottom while the tops of the eggs were runny and the whites weren't cooked throughout. Gross. The bacon tasted and looked like it came out of one of those pre-cooked bacon packs sold at grocery stores. My fiance ordered a western omelet which was pretty large and tasty. The hashbrowns were cooked well with a crispy exterior and soft interior. On his toast there was so much butter soaking through the bread that it became almost soggy. Another big disappointment was how bitter the coffee was - I barely finished my one cup. Overall, I'm a huge fan of diners but if you're going to a commercial one - I highly prefer Ihop. read more

We enjoyed our breakfast/lunch at Denny's very much mjtoday. This is the second time we've had a nice visit at this location. Its pretty bad for the price we have to pay for the food and then waitresses expects the tip afterwards. Its suppose to be something we want to do, but in order to get the good service we are expected to pay or else next time we get treated like shit and dont get served. questions such as dont you ever eat at home. Really I use to eat there every day there are some good waitresses but also some very rude. Especially when you have a waitress such as Ewina come in and harrase me when i get told to go and eat. And on a night shift when she worked one day she threw a fit in front of people just cause I was there. read more

stopped in for a late breakfast or early lunch. they are heavily into supporting our military personnel (really love this fact). the food was typical Denny's quality and the service wasn't bad. they might've been shorthanded but, the waitress never stopped moving to take care of people. it really looks the part of an old diner. nothing in poor repair but, just old. read more

Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Took our order fast, checked in on us several times and made sure we had anything we needed. I didn't catch her name but she had long dark hair and glasses. Anyway the issue was that a man that was behind the line talking to the waitresses over the counter, who we later learned was the manager, said something to the effect of "don't question b1*ch" The B word was the loudest and everyone in the restaurant heard it. It didn't seem to be said aggressively but it was still very shocking. The people in the booth next to us asked our server why he said that, and she said "oh that's our manager, he just talks like that to us, he's just playing around and he'll say things like puta etc." We were already getting up to pay our bill. But couldn't believe that she was making light of him calling her a b1*ch in front of the entire restaurant. Not to mention we were eating with our 7 and 4yr old, who also heard him call her that and they asked why he said a bad word. Joke or not, that was not ok to do in front of patrons and children. And the fact that it was a manager is even worse. I'm giving 3 stars because the service was good, food came fast, and our server even put sprinkles on our kids milkshakes when they asked for it. Otherwise I'd give 1. As a manager, do better. read more

It was the late Saturday night before Halloween. I was hungry and was driving by and saw that they were open. Not thinking about Halloween because there were a lot of adults in costumes apparently on their way home from partying! Since I was there I figured I would enjoy watching the people in costumes. The waitress (Megan) apologized and informed me that they were understaffed with a cook the manager the only other employees. I feel bad because the service was fine, but holy cow this was bad even for a dennys. I've had better at McDonald's and Waffle House, it's not the cooks fault but more the quality of the food. I don't understand how it's possible to make "orange juice" taste so bad and watered down, the coffee tastes sour and old, the toast was just an uncooked piece of bread with oil- heavy margarine slathered on top, the bacon was thin and chow hall quality, the crepes might as well have just been big folded up pancakes, and the gravy was cold and curdled. I understand it's dennys so I'm not expecting fine dining but oh my god read more

The food Was nasty and uncooked, my sever was rude and smelled l, the chair was sticky and there was a bug on the table pooping.

We ordered two Cobb salads with the prime rib add on. It was horrible- how do you mess up salads!!?? They forgot the tomatoes, potato sticks, and cheese. It was just a pile of wilted lettuce, one hard boiled egg, and a tiny bit of bacon bits. They charged $5.00 a piece for the prime rib add on for very few crappy pieces of meat. Very disappointed. read more

I stopped by here on the way out of town and needed a place for a good meal that appealed to everyone. This location is really good. I had a burger here and I have to say it was one of the better ones I have had in a long time. It was perfectly cooked and very juicy. Seriously good. Denny's was fortunately situated RIGHT next to my hotel in this godforsaken area so I figured don't want to pay the high delivery charges - go to Denny's. I got sat pretty promptly and looked at the menu to figure out what I wanted....and then I started to people watch. There was a table full of people who appeared to be having a good time (wow) and in a booth next to mine, 3 people who appeared to be having a business conversation. There was paper scattered all over their table and a bunch of glasses that had what I assume to be soda. All of the sudden the booth next to me started to wave her hands and got very loud and screeched "Could we order here please!?!" at the top of her lungs. Seriously lady? Had it been me, I would have come over and smacked you. Yes you're at a Denny's, but the servers did nothing to deserve your rude behavior. Server came over and promptly took their order. Honestly with the amount of paper work they had on the table I would have assumed they came in for coffee and to just talk - who's to know? Anyway, server came to me and took my order. I found nothing wrong with the two servers I interacted with. Maybe I sympathized because of my past server days in college but I didn't see anything to warrant the negative comments that I read on Yelp. First of all people, you're at Denny's. If you think you're going to get something fabulous you're delusional. Most Denny's are hanging on financially and the staff turnover so great its probably dizzying. Having said that, be a little kind would you? If these people could get jobs anywhere else would they be here at Denny's? Would you? I think not. Yeah... my skillet dish was a bit greasy and I had to pick at the food, but what was I thinking walking into Denny's to eat on a Thursday night? read more

This used to be my family's favorite spot. However, we are here today and we're so disappointed. I don't know what happened, maybe the new management, or something. The portions have gotten way smaller and the service was just bad. The whole place seems like a disaster. The once great Southwest Turkey Sandwich which was once a thick sandwich, became two thin slices of turkey with 2 small thin slices of avocado and cheese in two greasy pieces of toast. Then there was the omelette, my dad ordered the a supreme omelette and usually it's a very large omelette with tons of filling inside. But nope it was a very small omelette with barely anything inside. They have downsized all their portions, including the pancakes. Then the service, ugh! I never had a problem with the open kitchen before, but now I dread it so much. The manager and waitresses were arguing with the cook and their conversation was really loud, everyone in the whole diner can hear. Then there are the waitresses. My family was sitting in a booth next to the cash register and the bathroom. All three waitresses were just standing next to us talking about pregnancy, water breaking, and the gruesome labor. This was while we were all eating. They could have gone to the back and talked there, but in front of customers. They could have cleaned instead of just standing there talking. I also can't forget about the bathrooms. Both toilets were clogged and the place smelled of smoke, like someone's been smoking in there. I really wish I could give this place zero stars. read more

My review is based on three different visits to this Denny's location after the last few months. We have always found the quality of food here to be above standard Denny's quality. The food alone would be a solid four star as the chef does a good job of sending it out hot in a timely manner. Service has ranged from excellent to below average. Most of the servers here are pretty good though it seems. Cleanliness was poor on our last visit. The table we were seated at was not clean and had chairs which were dirty. Unfortunately the menus we had were incredibly sticky with pages stuck together. read more

Typical Denny's - old Dinner feel. The Service is friendly when you can get it We Asked for coke refill and they had to tell "our" server. Apparently that is a skilled job $5.99 breakfasts special is not bad but offset by $2.79 soft drink that is hard to get refilled. This is a special and well worth it for the Cost I also dislike when they Bring check while still eating Also Service seems to stop at that point Also - the staff is in the dining room talking real loud about customers. Not enjoyable. So loud I could clearly hear them in bathroom read more

Staying at a hotel nearby so I thought I would catch dinner here since almost every state every Denny's is the same I prove myself wrong right when I walked in there were no one in the building except maybe three customers and four workers , after about three minutes I was greeted by Suzanne B , she immediately took my drink order and it took her 45 minutes to come back to the table after she was done with her conversation with the manager I ordered a sampler and a sirloin steak dinner and when I got the sampler the mozzarella sticks were not fully cooked they were still a light tan yellowish color when I bit into it the cheese was still solid, when I got my sirloin steak dinner and I noticed the steak was an odd color... It was gray when I asked the waiter she said they all look like that. I thought maybe I was overthinking it because I am in a different state I took one bite and immediately knew there's something wrong. My mashed potatoes were liquidy so I asked the waiter just for the check when she asked if I wanted a box I told her no. She asked me if I was sure I told her I didn't like the food she looked at the manager the manager stayed behind the desk and never came to see if they wanted to re-cook it or anything the waiter handed me the check and looked back at the manager and said I don't know what she wants me to do. Didn't even wait until I was gone and she didn't want to check me out she had another employee come to ring me out. I don't understand the rudeness because I never offered or asked anyone to give me any discounts or anything but yet she was very comfortable to say something while I was still in the building in the booth read more
