From the very beginning, communication with the office was excellent. The office assistant, Salma, was responsive and helpful, and attorney Anthony Tartaglia provided outstanding representation. Maria Bourn also oversaw my case and was involved through the process. I communicated in detail and at times I was concerned that I might be providing too much information. Anthony welcomed that communication and reassured me that sharing too much information was always better than leaving out something that could be important to my case. That level of care and concern gave me a great deal of confidence throughout the process. The guidance, communication, and representation I received from Gomerman Bourn & Associates were excellent. As a result of their efforts, the university medical center agreed to provide some accommodations before we moved forward with litigation, although litigation remains an option if necessary. I highly recommend Gomerman Bourn & Associates to anyone seeking knowledgeable, responsive, and dedicated legal representation. I am very grateful for the support and guidance I received from Anthony Tartaglia, Maria Bourn, and the entire office.

Professional, efficient, straightforward: Mr Catalanotti spoke to me in clear layman's terms about the legal avenues for redress of my tenant problems. With little pomp, he quickly laid out my rights and responsibilities as a landlord and avoided a costly court battle. In a business with more than its fair share of unscrupulous operators, both Mr Catalanotti and Mr Epstein are well-regarded in San Francisco for their high ethical standards and involvement in the community. Incidentally, I'm saddened to see a defamatory personal attack from an obviously unbalanced individual, apparently on the receiving end of Mr Catalanotti's vigorous and successful litigation for his client's rights. The process of having my wife apply for a green card was at first glance intimidating, worrying, and seemed like a difficult process. That's when we knew we needed to seek professional help. That's when we acquired the much needed help of Attorney Dennis. Attorney Dennis was able to make things a lot easier for us taking away the stress and reducing the time it took to processes all of our papers by ourselves. No matter what part of the state, Attorney Dennis is willing to work for us and that was very helpful and convenient for us since we live in Los Angeles county. He communicated with us through email and phone and everything was clear and straight forward. He was always available whenever we had questions about filing. Attorney Dennis was able to make the process of filing for my wife's green card an easier and clear process and took away all the guess work, and eliminated the intimidating, worrying, and difficult thoughts I've had about filing. Attorney Dennis prepared us for the interview with USCIS a couple weeks prior to the interview through the phone. He compassionately explained to us the step by step process and questions. On the day of the interview he flied from San Francisco to Los Angeles to be our represented attorney for my wife and I. Admittedly on the day of the interview I was nervous because I was thinking about the "what ifs". Meeting Attorney Dennis in person relieved that nervousness because his strong demeanor, positive attitude, compassionate ability, and excellent friendliness. The USCIS was a great success and we got my wife's green card a week later in the mail. My wife and I could not be anymore grateful for the help of Attorney Dennis. My love for my wife is invaluable and I wanted to give her the best so I gave her the best with CHUA TINSAY & VEGA. To summarize I give CHUA TINSAY & VEGA 5/5 and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the law group to anyone seeking help with immigration law. Thank you so much Attorney Dennis. Unfortunately, I let the negative reviews in here influence my decision and hired another attorney instead and it cost us valuable time. What immediately stood out to us was Bornstein Law's transparency. Their terms and fees are clearly listed on their website. That was a big relief after the other attorney was trying to get us to sign with their firm and start an eviction over a small issue (Bornstein Law's fees are more affordable vs the other attorney we talked to). During our consultation, we didn't have to spend a long time explaining every detail of our situation and Attorney Bornstein had already identified the issue and presented several options to resolve our tenant issue. He was direct, practical, and didn't sugarcoat anything. I can see how some people might interpret that as feeling unheard, but in our case, we appreciated his efficiency. He was also considerate enough to recommend options that would cost us less because our matter was not an eviction case. After the call, I realized why some reviews mention communication issues. At the end of our consultation, he accidentally placed us on hold, apparently thinking the call had already ended. Should we be upset about it? Maybe. But compared to finally having a clear path forward for our tenant issue, it felt like a minor mistake. We left the consultation relieved and confident about our next steps.

What stood out to me about my experience with the Dolan Law Firm was Vanessa and the entire team…read moreand their commitment to doing the right thing for me and my case. Vanessa explained the process to me each step of the way and answered each of my questions thoroughly. I never felt stupid or silly working with anyone on the team. I was treated with respect and kindness. It is rare to find individuals, let alone attorneys that understand compassion and empathy, to get you through a difficult situation. I always felt supported and heard by Chris, Vanessa and their team. From the moment I met Chris and Vanessa in their office the process was explained in detail to me and then repeated along the way. There are no guarantees in our legal system and to be informed and educated on how they plan to get you the best possible outcome was not only said to me but then followed with consistent behavior and actions that exemplified Dolan Law Firm does what they say they are going to do. The Dolan Law Firm also ensures whatever they put out there is accurate, defendable, and appropriate for your case. Dolan Law Firm will not present false information just to do it. They have integrity and ethics, which sadly not all attorneys have. Dolan Law Firm works thoughtfully and thoroughly within the legal system. Strategy, yes, but not falsifying to see if anyone notices. I appreciated my own documentation and experience being thoroughly vetted because once it is out there you want to be in the best position for your own case. This is powerful because the process can be emotionally difficult. For example, with my deposition, Vanessa not only helped me ahead of time understand what it was but met me at a local coffee shop beforehand to hang out with me before the deposition after herself driving more than 100 miles early in the morning to be there with me. The Dolan Law Firm also will not just settle to get the quickest outcome. If you are patient and willing to listen to their advice it more likely than not will only benefit you. Remember attorneys are also referred to as counsel. The word counsel means they give you advice and guidance. It is ultimately your decision each step of the way, which can be hard if you have never done something like this before. This makes your decision about whom to represent you and work with even more important. If the Dolan Law Firm accepts you as a client, it is valuable. I knew I was in good hands. And don't forget to document, document, document.

She also called about 30 minutes later than the time she told me she would, and at one point she didn't even seem to know the time difference in California. What bothered me the most was her attitude. There were several moments where her tone came across as rude and even a little snarky. As someone who's been through an accident, you're already dealing with enough stress. The last thing you need is someone making you feel like you're just another call on a list. I've worked in customer service before, so I know how important tone and empathy are. During the call, I even told her, "Please don't make smart or snarky remarks when you're talking to potential clients." Unfortunately, the conversation never improved, and I ended up hanging up because I was so disappointed. I hope the company provides better training for the people handling these initial calls.
